আবূ হুরাইরা (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ কিয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে না যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত না তোমরা এমন এক সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধে লিপ্ত হবে যাদের জুতা হবে চুলের তৈরী। আর কিয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে না যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত না তোমরা এমন এক সম্প্রদায়ের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধে লিপ্ত হবে, যাদের মুখমণ্ডল হবে বহু স্তরবিশিষ্ট ঢালের মতো। সহীহ, বুখারী, মুসলিম। ইবনু তাগলিব ও মুআবিয়া (রাঃ) হতেও এ অনুচ্ছেদে হাদীস বর্ণিত আছে। এ হাদীসটি হাসান সহীহ।
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet(s.a.w) said:"The Hour shall not be established until you fight a people whose sandals are made out of hair, and the Hour shall not be established until you fight a people whose faces will look like shields coated with leather
আবূ বাকর সিদ্দীক (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম আমাদেরকে বলেছেনঃ প্রাচ্যের 'খোরাসান' হতে দাজ্জালের আবির্ভাব ঘটবে। এমন কতক জাতি তার অনুসরণ করবে, যাদের মুখমণ্ডল হবে স্তরবিশিষ্ট চওড়া ঢালের মতো। সহীহ, ইবনু মা-জাহ (৪০৭২)। আবূ ঈসা বলেন, আবূ হুরাইরা ও আইশা (রাঃ) হতেও এ অনুচ্ছেদে হাদীস বর্ণিত আছে। এ হাদীসটি হাসান গারীব। অধিকন্তু এ হাদীসটি আবূত তাইয়াহ হতে আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু শাওযাব প্রমুখ বর্ণনা করেছেন। আমরা এই হাদীস প্রসঙ্গে শুধুমাত্র আবূত তাইয়াহর সূত্রেই জেনেছি।
