حدثنا أبو هارون، عن عمرو بن قيس الملائي، عن المنهال، عن زر بن حبيش، سمع عليا، رضي الله عنه يقول: " يفرج الله الفتن برجل منا يسومهم خسفا لا يعطيهم إلا السيف، يضع السيف على عاتقه ثمانية أشهر هرجا، حتى يقولوا: والله ما هذا من ولد فاطمة، لو كان من ولدها لرحمنا، يغريه الله ببني العباس وبني أمية "

Abu Harun told us, on the authority of Amr ibn Qais al-Malai, on the authority of al-Minhal, on the authority of Zirr ibn Hubaysh, he heard Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) say: “May Allah relieve the temptations of a man among us who afflicts them with shame and gives them nothing but the sword. He places the sword on his shoulder for eight months of chaos, until they say: By Allah, this is not a descendant of Fatima. If he were hers, he would have mercy on us. Allah tempts him with the sons of Abbas and the sons of Umayyad.”
