Nu'aym told us, then Rushdin, on the authority of Ibn Lahi'ah, on the authority of Bakr ibn Sawadah, that a servant of Abdullah ibn Amr told him, on the authority of Abu Zur'ah, on the authority of Shafi, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: “You and the people of Andalusia are fighting handsomely, and your reinforcements will come to you from the Levant, and when the first of them descends, Allah will defeat your enemy, and they will continue to kill them as far as Lubiyah, and then you will return, and Abyssinia will come to you with three hundred thousand, upon them. Then you and the people of the Levant fight them, and Allah Almighty defeats them. Then you return to the Copts and say: Why did you help us against our enemy? They say: You did this to us. You took away our strength. You did not leave us a weapon, and you are the people most beloved to us. He said: Then they forgive them.
