English

After the Mahdi, there will be a caliph from the people of Yemen, from Qahtan, the Mahdi’s brother in religion, who will do his work, and he will conquer the city of Byzantium and seize its spoils. The people will be succeeded by a man from Banu Hashim in Jerusalem, who will extinguish traditions that were known and invent traditions that were not, until you will not find a scholar who narrates a single hadith. Al-Qatadad on a dark night, and he sends his daughter to go to the markets with her, wearing a blanket of gold. She cannot hide, coming or going. If a man spoke about that, his neck would be struck.

Abu Ayoub told us ، About Artaat ، About the one who told him about Ka'b ، He said: “A man from the Quraysh will be appointed as successor from the evil of creation ، He descends on Jerusalem ، The treasuries and noble people are transferred to him ، They are arrogant in it ، And his veil becomes tighter ، Their money is abundant ، Until one man feeds them for a month and the other for two or three months ، So that their lean person will be like the fat of all other people ، They grow up therein like calves reared on stalls ، And the Caliph extinguishes our age that was known ، And he innovates our age that was not ، Evil appears in his time ، Adultery appears ، And drink alcohol in public ، He frightened the scholars of his time with fear ، Even if a man rode a camel and then traveled around all the regions, he would not find a scholar among the scholars to tell him a hadith of knowledge out of fear. ، And in his time, there will be metamorphosis and eclipse ، Islam is strange ، The one who adheres to his religion is like holding a burning ember ، Or like the map of astragalus on a dark night ، Until it became his business to send his daughter through the market with the condition ، It has blankets of gold on it ، A garment that does not hide her, whether coming or going, due to its elegance ، If any of the people uttered a single word to denounce him, I would strike his neck ، It begins to deprive people of livelihood ، Then he prevents them from giving ، Then after that, he orders the expulsion of the people of Yemen from the Levant ، So the condition brings them out separately ، Do not let one soldier reach another until they have expelled them from the entire countryside ، They end up at Busra ، And that is at the end of his life ، The people of Yemen correspond with each other until they meet like an autumn gathering ، They set out from where they were to each other, team by team ، Then they say: Where will you go and leave your land and your immigrants? Their minds agree to pledge allegiance to one of them ، While they were saying: We pledge allegiance to so-and-so ، Rather, so-and-so ، When they heard a voice neither human nor jinn said: Pledge allegiance to so-and-so ، He names them ، So he was a man they were satisfied with ، I was convinced of it ، It is neither from nor from ، Then they would send a group of them to the mighty of Quraysh ، He kills them and brings back one of their men who tells them what happened ، Then the people of Yemen march to it ، And the mighty of Quraysh have twenty thousand of the police ، Then the people of Yemen marched, and Lakhm, Judham, Amila, and Jadis fought against them ، They bring them food and drink ، And a little and a lot ، On that day, they will be a help to Yemen, just as Joseph was a help to his brothers in Egypt ، By the one in whose hand is the same heel ، Lakhm, Jadham, Amila, and Jadis are among the people of Yemen ، O people of Yemen ، If they come to you seeking their lineage from you, pray for them ، They are from you ، Then they all walk until they overlook Jerusalem ، Then the mighty of Quraysh met them ، In crowds ، The people of Yemen defeat them ، And they do not support the people of Yemen if a man is satisfied with his clothing in battle.”

In the state of Al-Qahtani, an otter fights with chicks and donkeys, and on that day is a man from Kindah. An otter kills him and hangs his head from a tree in the mosque. The donkeys become angry with him, and they fight fiercely among themselves, until every house near the mosque is demolished so that their ranks can expand to fight. In that case, woe will come to the eastern from the western, and otherwise to Homs, and they will be the most miserable of the tribes in Yemen in terms of peace, because they are their neighbors.

Donkeys and an otter fight in Homs, on a grizzled mule. An otter brings on donkeys between them and the Euphrates, and they fight in the Rastan market. The two horses walk in the two markets, not seeing each other, so the two horses fight fiercely. Then a king emerges against them from the cotton alley, the fragrant alley, on a grizzled barthogne, and knocks between them, and the two groups depart with little remorse. So woe to Aad from Aym, and woe to Aym from Aad. Himyar returned from Aym, and the people of Yemen and Aym returned from Qada'ah. There, Qadhiyah was destroyed

English

Then the fighting in Homs will intensify until what is between its markets is destroyed, and until an otter comes and extends it from between the Euphrates and below, and then the attack will be upon them if they fight under the dome of Homs. Donkeys and an otter will fight in Homs until an otter demolishes what is around its market from the court to Bab al-Rastan to expand it into the fighting line. They will gather at the market place, and the fighting will intensify in Homs, and bloodshed will increase until the horses' hooves stick to the rows of blood from the markets, until blood will flow in the market gatherings, and there will be a great massacre. Whoever attends that and is destined to leave Homs, let him do so. Blessed is he who lives at that time in a village, or lives towards the Qiblah from Homs. Then the donkeys will intensify against Quda'ah until they expel them from the gate of Rastan, and their fighting will intensify until a king comes upon me. A horse is seen by the people, and they are almost devoted to it, and it is imprisoned among them, and the otter is fierce on the donkeys of the people of those present and the otter around the Euphrates, so they come with a great army, and the strife and fighting increase in the Levant.

English

By the Romans on the day of the battle, and had I not witnessed the conquest of the city of infidelity, I would not have loved to live, for Allah Almighty forbids that day any iron weapon to be cowardly.

Nu'aym told us, Al-Walid told us, on the authority of Kulthum ibn Ziyad, on the authority of Sulayman ibn Habib Al-Muharbi, on the authority of Ka'b, who said: “They fight in the depths in intense combat, and victory is lifted, patience is exhausted, and iron is applied to one another, until the horses run in blood to their knees for three consecutive days, and nothing is kept between them except the night, until it rises, and groups of people, meaning groups, say: Islam was only for a term and an end, and its term has reached.” And its end is that they will follow the births of our fathers, and they will follow in disbelief, and our immigrant children will remain. Then a man among them will say: O these people, do you not see what these people have done? Let us join us, so that we may join Allah. No one follows him, and he walks to them until he comes to them and they pull him down with their meteorites, until his blood drenches their arms, so Allah defeats them.

Al-Walid said: Othman bin Abi Al-Atika told me, on the authority of Ka’b, similarly, Ka’b said: “That is the most honorable martyr who was in Islam, except for Hamza bin Abdul Muttalib. Then the angels say: Our Lord, will you not permit us to support Your servants?” So he says: “I am more deserving of supporting them.” On that day, he stabs with his spear and strikes with his sword, and his sword is his command, so Allah Almighty defeats them and gives them their shoulders, so they trample them as they are trampled. After that, the Romans will have neither a group nor a kingdom.”
