حدثنا ابن عبد الوارث، عن حماد بن سلمة، عن علي بن زيد، عن رجل، عن أبي هريرة، قال: «تخرج نار من المشرق، وأخرى من قبل المغرب، تحشران الناس بين أيديهم القردة، يسيران بالنهار، ويكمنان بالليل، حتى يجتمعا بجسر منبج»

একটা আগুন পূর্ব দিক থেকে আর আরেকটা পশ্চিম দিক থেকে এসে মানুষকে জড়ো করে বানরদের সামনে। তারা দিনের বেলা পায়চারি করে এবং রাতের বেলা মানবিজ সেতুতে দেখা না হওয়া পর্যন্ত অপেক্ষায় থাকে।

One fire comes from the east, and another from the west, gathering the people in front of the monkeys. They walk during the day and lie in wait at night, until they meet at the Manbij Bridge.
