عن ابن المبارك، أخبرنا معمر، عن الزهري، عن صفوان بن عبد الله، أن رجلا قال يوم صفين: اللهم العن أهل الشام، فقال له علي رضي الله عنه: «مه، لا تسب أهل الشام، جم غفير فإن فيهم الأبدال»
