Kitab al-Fitan (Nu'aym ibn Hammad) 684
Kitab al-Fitan of Nu'aym ibn Hammad: ungraded, and weak overall. Never established on its own.
Traced to Ka'b al-Ahbar (automatic guess): a report of earlier scriptures, not a hadith of the Prophet ﷺ.
Ibn Ayyash said: Dawud bin Abd al-Rahman told me, on the authority of Qais bin Asim al-Thaqafi, on the authority of Ibn al-Musayyab, he said: I said: If you went out and wandered with your people? He said: Allah forbid that I abandon the twenty-five and one hundred prayers for five prayers. Then Saeed said: I heard Ka’b al-Ahbar say: “I wish this milk were tar.” It was said: Why that? He said: The Quraysh followed the tails of camels into the paths, and Satan is with the one, and he is further away from the two.
