حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم، قال: «إذا غلبت قضاعة، وظهرت على المغرب، فأتى صاحبهم بني العباس فيدخل ابن أختهم الكوفة مع من معه فيخربها، ثم تصيبه بها قرحة، ويخرج منها يريد الشام، فيهلك بين العراق والشام، ثم يولون عليهم رجلا من أهل بيته، فهو الذي يفعل بالناس الأفاعيل، ويظهر أمره وهو السفياني، ثم تجتمع العرب عليه بأرض الشام، فيكون بينهم قتال حتى يتحول القتال إلى المدينة، فتكون الملحمة ببقيع الغرقد»
