Abu Amr told us, on the authority of Ibn Lahi’ah, on the authority of Abdul Wahhab bin Hussein, on the authority of Muhammad bin Thabit, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Al-Harith, on the authority of Ibn Masoud, he said: “If a man emerges from Fihr gathering Berbers, a man from the descendants of Abu Sufyan emerges, and when Fihri reaches his departure, they separate into three groups: a group that will return, a group that will stay with him and walk to the Levant, and a squad that will stay with him and walk to the Levant, and a squad that will go to Hijaz, where they will meet in Wadi Al-Ansal in the Levant, defeat the Berbers, and then fight the people of the Levant.”
