A man emerges from the peninsula and tramples on the people, and sheds blood. Then a man emerges from Khorasan after killing his brother from Banu Hashim, called Abdullah. He remains for about forty years. Then he dies and two men from his household named by the same name differ, so it becomes an epic in Aqraqufa, and they appear close to the caliph. Then it becomes a sign among the Banu al-Asfar, and a star with a tail appears, and it disappears from them and does not return to them.

If the Turks and Khazars appear in the peninsula and Azerbaijan, and the Romans in the depths and its outskirts, the Romans will fight a man from Qays, from the people of Qinnasrin, and the Sufyani will fight the people of the East in Iraq, and each side will be occupied with an enemy. If he fights them for forty days and does not come to him, he will extend the favor of the Romans, provided that neither party gives anything to the other.

Then his household says to him: Do you want to remove us from our livelihood? They refuse him, and he kills several members of his household. Then they disagreed among themselves, and then a man from the progeny of Fihr would emerge, gathering from the Berbers until he took the pulpits of Egypt, then a man from the progeny of Abu Sufyan would emerge, and when Al-Fihri reached his exit, they would separate into three groups.” To the end of the hadith.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The mill of Islam will go round till the year thirty-five, or thirty-six, or thirty-seven; then if they perish, they will have followed the path of those who perished before them, but if their religion is maintained, it will be maintained for seventy years. I asked: Does it mean seventy years which remain or seventy years which are gone by? He replied: It means (seventy years) that are gone by. Abu Dawud said: Those who recorded Khirash, the name of a narrator, are wrong. (The correct name is Hirash)
