Days and nights do not pass until a man from Qahtan drives people away

Al-Walid told us, on the authority of Omar bin Muhammad bin Zaid bin Abdullah bin Omar, on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: “When people gathered in Wadi Iliya, Nizar said: O Nizar, and Qahtan said: O Qahtan, send down patience, raise victory, and impose iron on one another.”

Abu Al-Mughirah told us, on the authority of Ibn Ayyash, on the authority of Omar bin Muhammad bin Zaid, on the authority of someone who told him on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: “If Nizar says: O Nizar, and the people of Yemen say: O Qahtan, patience descends, victory is lifted, and iron is imposed upon them.”

Ibn Wahb told us, on the authority of Ibn Lahi’ah, on the authority of Qays ibn Rafi’, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: “Do not be suspicious of the Quraysh’s destruction, for they will be the first to perish, to the point that a sandal will be found in the dustbin and it will be said: Take these sandals, they are the Quraysh sandals.”
