Surah 17 · verse 18

مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ عَجَّلۡنَا لَهُۥ فِيهَا مَا نَشَآءُ لِمَن نُّرِيدُ ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَا لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ يَصۡلَىٰهَا مَذۡمُومࣰ ا مَّدۡحُورࣰ ا۝١٨

18. Whoever should desire the immediate - We hasten for him from it what We will to whom We intend. Then We have made for him Hell, which he will [enter to] burn, censured and banished

১৮. কেউ আশু সুখ-সম্ভোগ কামনা করলে আমরা যাকে যা ইচ্ছে এখানেই সত্ত্বর দিয়ে থাকি; পরে তার জন্য জাহান্নাম নির্ধারিত করি যেখানে সে শাস্তিতে দগ্ধ হবে নিন্দিত ও অনুগ্রহ হতে দূরীকৃত অবস্থায়।
