خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يَبۡغُونَ عَنۡهَا حِوَلࣰ ا١٠٨
১০৮. সেখানে তারা চিরকাল থাকবে, সেখান থেকে তারা স্থানান্তরিত হতে চাইবে না।

Mufti Muhammad ShafiThe purpose of the last sentence: لَا يَبْغُونَ عَنْهَا حِوَلًا (and will not wish to move from there - 108) is to tell that this station of Jannah is a never-ending, ever-lasting blessing for them. The reason is that Allah Ta’ ala has promulgated His command to the effect that whoever has entered Jannah will never be expelled from there. But, there was the possibility of some doubt crossing someone's heart, for human beings naturally get fed up by living at one place.
They wish to move out and go to other places. Now, if they were not allowed to go elsewhere out of Jannah, they might start feeling the pinch of a sort of restriction. This was answered in the verse by saying that taking Jannah on the analogy of other places is rank ignorance. Once a person goes into the Jannah, everything he saw and lived within the mortal world would find all that trifling in the presence of the bliss and beauty of Jannah and - so blessed in that manner - no one would ever even think of going out of here.

Abd al-Rahman al-Sa'di{ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ْ} هذا هو تمام النعيم، إن فيها النعيم الكامل، ومن تمامه أنه لا ينقطع { لَا يَبْغُونَ عَنْهَا حِوَلًا ْ} أي: تحولا ولا انتقالا، لأنهم لا يرون إلا ما يعجبهم ويبهجهم، ويسرهم ويفرحهم، ولا يرون نعيما فوق ما هم فيه.

Ismail ibn Kathirوقوله : ﴿خالدين فيها﴾
أي : مقيمين ساكنين فيها ، لا يظعنون عنها أبدا ، ﴿لا يبغون عنها حولا﴾
أي : لا يختارون غيرها ، ولا يحبون سواها ، كما قال الشاعر : فحلت سويدا القلب لا أنا باغيا سواها ولا عن حبها أتحول وفي قوله : ﴿لا يبغون عنها حولا﴾
تنبيه على رغبتهم فيها ، وحبهم لها ، مع أنه قد يتوهم فيمن هو مقيم في المكان دائما أنه يسأمه أو يمله ، فأخبر أنهم مع هذا الدوام والخلود السرمدي ، لا يختارون عن مقامهم ذلك متحولا ولا انتقالا ولا ظعنا ولا رحلة ولا بدلا

Abu Abdullah al-Qurtubiخالدين فيها أي دائمين .لا يبغون عنها حولا أي لا يطلبون تحويلا عنها إلى غيرها . والحول بمعنى التحويل ; قاله أبو علي . وقال الزجاج : حال من مكانه حولا كما يقال : عظم عظما . قال : ويجوز أن يكون من الحيلة ، أي لا يحتالون منزلا غيرها . قال الجوهري : التحول التنقل من موضع إلى موضع ، والاسم الحول ، ومنه قوله - تعالى - : خالدين فيها لا يبغون عنها حولا .

উদ্দেশ্য এই যে, জান্নাতের এ স্থানটি তাদের জন্য অক্ষয় ও চিরস্থায়ী নেয়ামত। যে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করেছে, তাকে সেখান থেকে কখনো বের করা হবে না। কিন্তু এখানে একটি আশংকা ছিল এই যে, এক জায়গায় থাকতে থাকতে অতিষ্ঠ হয়ে যাওয়া মানুষের একটি স্বভাব। সে স্থান পরিবর্তনের ইচ্ছা করে। যদি জান্নাতের বাইরে কোথাও যাওয়ার অনুমতি না থাকে, তবে জান্নাতও কি খারাপ মনে হতে থাকবে? আলোচ্য আয়াতে এর জবাব দেয়া হয়েছে যে, যে ব্যক্তি জান্নাতে যাবে, জান্নাতের নেয়ামত ও চিত্তাকর্ষক পরিবেশের সামনে দুনিয়াতে দেখা ও ব্যবহার করা বস্তুসমূহ তার কাছে নগণ্য ও তুচ্ছ মনে হবে।
জান্নাত থেকে বাইরে যাওয়ার কল্পনাও কোন সময় মনে জাগবে না। অর্থাৎ তার চেয়ে আরামদায়ক কোন পরিবেশ কোথাও থাকবে না। ফলে জান্নাতের জীবন তার সাথে বিনিময় করার কোন ইচ্ছাই তাদের মনে জাগবে না। [দেখুন, ইবন কাসীর; ফাতহুল কাদীর]
