Surah 18 · verse 21

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَعۡثَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ لِيَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّ وَأَنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيهَآ إِذۡ يَتَنَٰزَعُونَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ أَمۡرَهُمۡۖ فَقَالُواْ ٱبۡنُواْ عَلَيۡهِم بُنۡيَٰنࣰ اۖ رَّبُّهُمۡ أَعۡلَمُ بِهِمۡۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ غَلَبُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرِهِمۡ لَنَتَّخِذَنَّ عَلَيۡهِم مَّسۡجِدࣰ ا۝٢١

21. And similarly, We caused them to be found that they [who found them] would know that the promise of Allah is truth and that of the Hour there is no doubt. [That was] when they disputed among themselves about their affair and [then] said, "Construct over them a structure. Their Lord is most knowing about them." Said those who prevailed in the matter, "We will surely take [for ourselves] over them a masjid

২১. আর এভাবে আমরা মানুষদেরকে তাদের হাদিস জানিয়ে দিলাম যাতে তারা জানে যে, আল্লাহর প্রতিশ্রুতি সত্য এবং কিয়ামতে কোনো সন্দেহ নেই। যখন তারা তাদের কর্তব্য বিষয়ে নিজেদের মধ্যে বিতর্ক করছিল তখন অনেকে বলল, ‘তাদের উপর সৌধ নির্মাণ কর।’ তাদের রব তাদের বিষয় ভালো জানেন। তাদের কর্তব্য বিষয়ে যাদের মত প্রবল হল তারা বলল, ‘আমরা তো নিশ্চয় তাদের পাশে মসজিদ নির্মাণ করব।
