Surah 9 · verse 74

يَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ مَا قَالُواْ وَلَقَدۡ قَالُواْ كَلِمَةَ ٱلۡكُفۡرِ وَكَفَرُواْ بَعۡدَ إِسۡلَٰمِهِمۡ وَهَمُّواْ بِمَا لَمۡ يَنَالُواْۚ وَمَا نَقَمُوٓاْ إِلَّآ أَنۡ أَغۡنَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦۚ فَإِن يَتُوبُواْ يَكُ خَيۡرࣰ ا لَّهُمۡۖ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوۡاْ يُعَذِّبۡهُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمࣰ ا فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَمَا لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِن وَلِيࣲّ وَلَا نَصِيرࣲ‏۝٧٤

74. They swear by Allah that they did not say [anything against the Prophet] while they had said the word of disbelief and disbelieved after their [pretense of] Islam and planned that which they were not to attain. And they were not resentful except [for the fact] that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty. So if they repent, it is better for them; but if they turn away, Allah will punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And there will not be for them on earth any protector or helper

৭৪. তারা আল্লাহ্‌র শপথ করে যে, তারা কিছু বলেনি; অথচ তারা তো কুফরী বাক্য বলেছে এবং ইসলাম গ্রহণের পর তারা কুফরী করেছে; আর তারা এমন কিছুর সংকল্প করেছিল যা তারা পায়নি। আর আল্লাহ্‌ ও তাঁর রাসূল নিজ অনুগ্রহে তাদেরকে অভাবমুক্ত করেছিলেন বলেই তারা বিরোধিতা করেছিল। অতঃপর তারা তাওবাহ্ করলে তা তাদের জন্য ভাল হবে, আর তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিলে আল্লাহ্‌ দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে তাদেরকে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি দেবেন; আর যমীনে তাদের কোনো অভিভাবক নেই এবং কোনো সাহায্যকারীও নেই।
