Abdul Quddus narrated to us, on the authority of Ismail bin Ayyash, on the authority of Abu Bakr bin Abi Maryam Al-Ghassani, Al-Haytham bin Malik Al-Tai narrated to me, citing the hadith, saying: “The Dajjal will remain in Iraq for two years, during which he will be praised for his justice, and the people will admire him. One day he will ascend the pulpit and deliver a sermon with it, then he will turn to them and say to them: What is the time for you to know your Lord? Someone will say to him: And who is our Lord? Then he will say: Me, and a group of people among the servants of Allah will deny his statement. So he seizes him and kills him, and two angels descend upon him from heaven, and one of them says to him, when he says: I am your Lord: He is a lie, and his companion says to him: He has spoken the truth, confirming his companion. So whoever Allah intends to guide him, he will confirm it, and he knows that the angel only believes his companion, and whoever Allah intends to lead him astray, a suspicion is cast upon him, so he said: When the angel believes his companion, he only believes the Dajjal in order to lead him astray. Then the Dajjal marches on, and whoever responds to the command of the sky, it rains upon them, and whoever opposes him, they become, and their money will be followed. All of them are the Dajjal, and he is followed by the Jews and the Bedouins, and he oppresses the Muslims and oppresses them until they are exhausted, and even the people of the House are in number, and one goat feeds them for dinner.”
