On the authority of Ibn Wahb, on the authority of Omar ibn Malik al-Sharabi, on the authority of Ibn al-Haad, he said: Omar ibn al-Hakam ibn Thawban told me, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-Aas, who said: “The animal emerges from a mountain with horseshoes, its head touching the clouds, and its feet have not come out of the ground, until it comes to the man while he is praying and says: What is prayer of your need? This is nothing but an excuse and hypocrisy, so it muzzles him.”
