حدثنا عبد الله بن مروان، عن عون الميثمي، عن سعيد بن أبي سعيد، عن أبي هريرة، رضي الله عنه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال
ما تحت أديم السماء خلق أشر من بربر، ولأن أتصدق بعلاقة سوط في سبيل الله أحب إلي من أن أعتق مائة رقبة من بربر
English
There is no creation under the firmament of the sky more evil than a barbarian, and for me to give a hook of a whip in charity for the sake of Allah is dearer to me than to free a hundred slaves of barbarians.
