Fear will come to him from his land and he will depart from it. So calamity will fall on Jawf, and calamity will fall among them, then their affairs will be cut off, and he will come from another family and overwhelm them.

Abdul Quddus told us, on the authority of Ibn Ayyash, on the authority of Umm Badr, she said: I heard Saeed bin Zar’ah saying: I heard Nawaf al-Bikali say to his companions: I find that this year Damascus is covered with sackcloth, brocade, and rags, and their dead are brought out on a calf, and their women’s bellies are open.
