সূরা ৩ · আয়াত ১৪৫

وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفۡسٍ أَن تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِ كِتَٰبࣰ ا مُّؤَجَّلࣰ اۗ وَمَن يُرِدۡ ثَوَابَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا نُؤۡتِهِۦ مِنۡهَا وَمَن يُرِدۡ ثَوَابَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ نُؤۡتِهِۦ مِنۡهَاۚ وَسَنَجۡزِي ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ۝١٤٥

145. And it is not [possible] for one to die except by permission of Allah at a decree determined. And whoever desires the reward of this world - We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter - We will give him thereof. And we will reward the grateful

১৪৫. আল্লাহ্‌র অনুমতি ছাড়া কারো মৃত্যু হতে পারে না, যেহেতু সেটার মেয়াদ সুনির্ধারিত। কেউ পার্থিব পুরস্কার চাইলে আমরা তাকে তার কিছু দিয়ে থাকি এবং কেউ আখেরাতের পুরস্কার চাইলে আমরা তাকে তার কিছু দিয়ে থাকি এবং শীঘ্রই আমরা কৃতজ্ঞদেরকে পুরস্কৃত করবো।
