সূরা ৯ · আয়াত ১৭

مَا كَانَ لِلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ أَن يَعۡمُرُواْ مَسَٰجِدَ ٱللَّهِ شَٰهِدِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِم بِٱلۡكُفۡرِۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ وَفِي ٱلنَّارِ هُمۡ خَٰلِدُونَ۝١٧

17. It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah [while] witnessing against themselves with disbelief. [For] those, their deeds have become worthless, and in the Fire they will abide eternally

১৭. মুশরিকরা যখন নিজেরাই নিজেদের কুফরী স্বীকার করে তখন তারা আল্লাহ্‌র মসজিদসমূহের আবাদ করবে--- এমন হতে পারে না। তারা এমন যাদের সব কাজই নষ্ট হয়েছে এবং তারা আগুনেই স্থায়ীভাবে অবস্থান করবে।
