It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin 'As that:the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah will not take away knowledge by removing it from people (from their hearts). Rather He will take away knowledge by taking away the scholars, then when there are no scholars left, the people will take the ignorant as their leaders. They will be asked questions and they will issue verdicts without knowledge, thus they will go astray and lead others astray
আবদুল্লাহ ইবনু আমর (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেনঃ আল্লাহ তাআলা মানুষের অন্তর থেকে ইলমকে বিলুপ্ত করার মাধ্যমে তা কেড়ে নিবেন না, বরং তিনি আলিমদেরকে (দুনিয়া থেকে) তুলে নেয়ার মাধ্যমে ইলমকেও তুলে নিবেন। অতএব যখন কোন আলিম অবশিষ্ট থাকবে না তখন জনগণ অজ্ঞ ও মূর্খদেরকে নেতা হিসাবে গ্রহণ করবে এবং তাদের কাছে (দ্বীনী বিষয়ে) জিজ্ঞেস করা হলে তারা (সেই বিষয়ে) কোন ইলম না থাকা সত্ত্বেও সিদ্ধান্ত দিবে। ফলে তারা নিজেরাও পথভ্রষ্ট হবে এবং জনগণকেও পথভ্রষ্ট করবে।
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:“Shall I not tell you a Hadith that I heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), which no one will tell you after me? I heard it from him (saying): ‘Among the portents of the Hour are that knowledge will be taken away and ignorance will prevail, illegal sex will become widespread and wine will be drunk, and men will disappear and women will be left, until there is one man in charge of fifty women.”
আনাস ইবনে মালেক (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, আমি কি তোমাদের জন্য এমন একটি হাদীস বর্ণনা করবো না, যা আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম -এর নিকট শুনেছি? আমার পরে সেই হাদীস আর কেউ তোমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করবে না। আমি তাঁর কাছে শুনেছি যে, কিয়ামতের কতক আলামত এই যে, এলেম উঠিয়ে নেয়া হবে, অজ্ঞতার বিস্তার ঘটবে, যেনা-ব্যভিচার ছড়িয়ে পড়বে, মদ পান করা হবে, পুরুষ লোকের অধিক হারে মৃত্যু হবে, অধিক হারে নারীরা বেঁচে থাকবে, এমনকি পঞ্চাশজন নারীর রক্ষণাবেক্ষণকারী হবে একজনমাত্র পুরুষ।
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah in a Marfu’ report (meaning, attributed to the Prophet (ﷺ)):“Time will pass quickly, knowledge will decrease, miserliness will be cast into people’s hearts, tribulations will appear and there will be much Harj.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, what is Harj?” He said: “Killing.”
আবূ হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেনঃ যমানা সংক্ষিপ্ত হয়ে যাবে, এলেম হ্রাস পাবে এবং কৃপণতার বিস্তার ঘটবে, কলহ-বিপর্যয়ের বিস্তার ঘটবে এবং হারজ বৃদ্ধি পাবে। সাহাবীগণ বললেন, হে আল্লাহর রাসূল! হারজ কি?তিনি বলেন, গণহত্যা।
