The Description of the People of the End of Time

...খ্রিস্টানদের থেকে, যতক্ষণ না ঈসা ইবনে মারইয়াম (আ.) তাতে অবতরণ করবেন। অতঃপর তিনি শুকর নিধন করবেন, ক্রুশ ভেঙে ফেলবেন এবং তাদের থেকে কোনো জিযিয়া গ্রহণ করবেন না। বরং যে ইসলাম গ্রহণ করবে তার ইসলাম কবুল করা হবে, অন্যথায় তাকে হত্যা করা হবে। সেদিন পৃথিবীর অবশিষ্ট কাফেরদের বিধানও অনুরূপ হবে। এটি মসীহ (আ.)-এর আগমনের পূর্বাভাস এবং তাঁর প্রতি শরয়ী অনুশাসন, কেননা তিনি কেবল এই পবিত্র শরীয়তের আলোকেই ফয়সালা করবেন। ইতিপূর্বে যেমন বর্ণিত হয়েছে, কিছু হাদিসে এসেছে যে তিনি বায়তুল মাকদাসে অবতরণ করবেন; অন্য বর্ণনায় এসেছে জর্দানে এবং অপর বর্ণনায় এসেছে মুসলিম বাহিনীর মধ্যে, যা সহীহ মুসলিমের কোনো কোনো বর্ণনায় ইতিপূর্বে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। আর আল্লাহই সর্বাধিক অবগত।

...the Christians, until Jesus, the son of Mary, descends upon it. He will then kill the swine, break the cross, and will not accept jizyah from them. Rather, whoever accepts Islam, his Islam will be accepted from him, and otherwise he will be killed. Such will also be the ruling for the rest of the disbelievers of the earth on that day. This serves as an informative statement concerning the Messiah as well as a divine legislation for him, for he will only rule according to this purified Shari'ah. It has been reported in some hadiths, as mentioned earlier, that he will descend in Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem), and in one narration in Jordan, and in another narration among the Muslim army, which is in some narrations of Muslim as preceded, and Allah knows best.

আর ইতিপূর্বে আব্দুর রহমান ইবনে আদমের সূত্রে আবু হুরায়রা (রা.) বর্ণিত হাদিসে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে:

And it was previously mentioned in the hadith of 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Adam, from Abu Hurayrah:

"আর তিনি অবতরণ করবেন। সুতরাং যখন তোমরা তাঁকে দেখবে, তখন তাঁকে চিনে নিও। তিনি মাঝারি গড়নের একজন মানুষ, লাল ও সাদার মিশ্রিত বর্ণবিশিষ্ট, দুটি হালকা হলুদ রঙের চাদর পরিহিত। তাঁর মাথা থেকে যেন ফোঁটায় ফোঁটায় পানি ঝরছে, যদিও তাতে কোনো ভেজা স্পর্শ করেনি। তিনি ক্রুশ ভেঙে ফেলবেন, শুকর নিধন করবেন, জিযিয়া রহিত করবেন এবং মানুষকে ইসলামের দিকে আহ্বান জানাবেন। তাঁর যুগে আল্লাহ ইসলাম ব্যতীত সমস্ত ধর্মকে বিলুপ্ত করে দেবেন এবং আল্লাহ তাঁর যুগে দাজ্জালকে (ভণ্ড মসীহ) ধ্বংস করবেন। অতঃপর পৃথিবীতে এমন শান্তি ও নিরাপত্তা প্রতিষ্ঠিত হবে যে সিংহ উটের সাথে, চিতাবাঘ গরুর সাথে এবং নেকড়ে ভেড়ার সাথে বিচরণ করবে, আর শিশুরা সাপ নিয়ে খেলা করবে কিন্তু তা তাদের কোনো ক্ষতি করবে না। অতঃপর তিনি চল্লিশ বছর অবস্থান করবেন, এরপর তিনি ইন্তেকাল করবেন এবং মুসলমানগণ তাঁর জানাজার সালাত আদায় করবে।"

"And he is descending; so when you see him, recognize him. He is a man of medium height, leaning towards redness and whiteness, wearing two light yellow garments, as if water is dripping from his head even though no wetness has touched it. He will break the cross, kill the swine, abolish the jizyah, and call the people to Islam. During his time, Allah will destroy all religions except Islam, and Allah will destroy the False Messiah (al-Masih al-Dajjal) in his time. Then peace and security will prevail over the earth, such that lions will graze with camels, leopards with cattle, and wolves with sheep, and a child will play with snakes without them harming him. He will remain for forty years, then he will pass away and the Muslims will offer the funeral prayer over him."

এটি আহমাদ ও আবু দাউদ বর্ণনা করেছেন। হাদিসে এভাবেই এসেছে যে তিনি পৃথিবীতে চল্লিশ বছর অবস্থান করবেন। তবে সহীহ মুসলিমে আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনে উমর (রা.) থেকে প্রমাণিত হয়েছে যে তিনি পৃথিবীতে সাত বছর অবস্থান করবেন। ফলে এই বর্ণনার সাথে ওই বর্ণনার একটি বাহ্যিক জটিলতা তৈরি হয়, যদি না এই সাত বছরকে তাঁর অবতরণের পরবর্তী অবস্থানকালের ওপর প্রয়োগ করা হয় এবং তা আসমানে উত্তোলনের পূর্বে পৃথিবীতে তাঁর অবস্থানের মেয়াদের সাথে যুক্ত করা হয়। আর প্রসিদ্ধ মতানুযায়ী সে সময় তাঁর বয়স ছিল তেত্রিশ বছর। আর আল্লাহই সর্বাধিক অবগত।

Narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawud. Thus it occurred in the hadith that he will remain on the earth for forty years. However, it is established in Sahih Muslim from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar that he will remain on the earth for seven years. Harmonizing this with that presents a difficulty, unless this seven is interpreted as the duration of his stay after his descent, being added to the duration of his stay on earth before he was raised to heaven, and his age at that time was thirty-three years according to the well-known opinion, and Allah knows best.

সহীহ হাদিসে আরও প্রমাণিত হয়েছে যে তাঁর যুগে ইয়াজুজ ও মাজুজ বের হবে এবং তাঁর দোয়ার বরকতে আল্লাহ এক রাতেই তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দেবেন, যেমনটি ইতিপূর্বে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে এবং সামনেও আসবে। আর এটাও প্রমাণিত যে অবতরণের পর পৃথিবীতে অবস্থানকালীন সময়ে তিনি হজ সম্পাদন করবেন।

It has also been established in the Sahih that Gog and Magog (Ya'juj and Ma'juj) will emerge during his time, and Allah will destroy them through the blessing of his supplication in a single night, as previously mentioned and as will come later. It is also established that he will perform the Hajj during the period of his stay on earth after his descent.
