Introduction

"{...এবং তার সেই স্বগোষ্ঠীকে, যারা তাকে আশ্রয় দিত, আর জমিনের সবাইকে, যাতে সে নিজেকে বাঁচাতে পারে। কখনও নয়! নিশ্চয় তা লেলিহান শিখা (লাযা), যা মাথার চামড়া খসিয়ে দেবে। সে এমন ব্যক্তিকে আহ্বান করবে, যে সত্য হতে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়েছিল এবং পিঠ প্রদর্শন করেছিল, আর ধন-সম্পদ পুঞ্জীভূত ও জমা করে রেখেছিল।}" [আল-মা'আরিজ: ১৩-১৮] বা [আল-মা'আরিজ: ১১-১৮]।

"{...and his nearest kin who sheltered him, and all who are on the earth entirely, so that it might save him. By no means! Indeed, it is the Flame of Hell (Ladha), stripping away the skin of the scalp! Calling him who turned his back and fled, and gathered wealth and hoarded it.}" [Al-Ma'arij: 13-18].

মহান আল্লাহ আরও বলেন:

And Allah the Exalted says:

"{অচিরেই আমি তাকে সাক্বারে (জাহান্নামে) নিক্ষেপ করব। আপনি কি জানেন সাক্বার কী? তা কাউকে অব্যাহতি দেবে না এবং কাউকেও ছেড়ে দেবে না। তা মানুষের ত্বককে দগ্ধকারী। তার তত্ত্বাবধানে নিয়োজিত রয়েছে উনিশজন (ফেরেশতা)। আর আমি জাহান্নামের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক হিসেবে কেবল ফেরেশতাদেরই নিযুক্ত করেছি, এবং তাদের এই সংখ্যাকে কাফিরদের জন্য কেবল এক পরীক্ষাস্বরূপ নির্ধারণ করেছি, যাতে কিতাবধারীরা দৃঢ় বিশ্বাসী হয়, মুমিনদের ঈমান আরও বৃদ্ধি পায়, কিতাবধারী ও মুমিনগণ যেন কোনো সংশয়ে না পড়ে, এবং যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি রয়েছে তারা ও কাফিররা যাতে বলে: 'আল্লাহ এই উপমা দ্বারা কী বোঝাতে চেয়েছেন?' এভাবেই আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে পরিচালিত করেন। আর আপনার রবের বাহিনী সম্পর্কে একমাত্র তিনিই সম্যক অবগত। আর এটি তো মানুষের জন্য উপদেশ বৈ নয়।}" [আল-মুদ্দাসসির: ২৬-৩১]।

"{I will drive him into the Scorching Fire (Saqar). And what can make you know what Saqar is? It neither spares nor leaves anything, scorching the skin. Over it are nineteen angels. And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels, and We have not fixed their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve, so that those who were given the Scripture may be convinced and those who have believed may increase in faith, and those who were given the Scripture and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is disease and the disbelievers may say, 'What did Allah intend by this example?' Thus does Allah leave to stray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And it is not but a reminder to humanity.}" [Al-Muddaththir: 26-31].

মহান আল্লাহ আরও বলেন:

And Allah the Exalted says:

"{প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি নিজ উপার্জনের দায়ে আবদ্ধ, তবে ডান দিকের লোকেরা ব্যতীত। তারা জান্নাতে থাকবে এবং পরস্পরে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করবে অপরাধীদের সম্পর্কে: 'কোন বিষয়টি তোমাদের সাক্বারে (জাহান্নামে) ঠেলে দিয়েছে?' তারা বলবে: 'আমরা নামাজ কায়েমকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিলাম না, অভাবগ্রস্তকে অন্ন দান করতাম না, অনর্থক সমালোচনাকারীদের সাথে আমরাও অনর্থক বিতর্কে মত্ত হতাম, এবং আমরা প্রতিফল দিবসকে অস্বীকার করতাম, যে পর্যন্ত না আমাদের নিকট নিশ্চিত বিষয় (মৃত্যু) এসে উপস্থিত হয়েছে।' সুতরাং সুপারিশকারীদের কোনো সুপারিশ তাদের কোনো উপকারে আসবে না। অতঃপর তাদের কী হলো যে তারা উপদেশ হতে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিচ্ছে?}" [আল-মুদ্দাসসির: ৩৮-৪৯]।

"{Every soul will be held in pledge for what it earned, except the companions of the right, in gardens, questioning one another about the criminals, 'What put you into Saqar?' They will say, 'We were not of those who prayed, nor did we feed the poor, and we used to indulge in vain talk with those who indulged, and we used to deny the Day of Recompense, until the certainty (death) came to us.' So the intercession of intercessors will not benefit them. Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from the reminder?}" [Al-Muddaththir: 38-49].

মহান আল্লাহ আরও বলেন:

And Allah the Exalted says:

"{নিশ্চয় আমি কাফিরদের জন্য প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছি শিকল, বেড়ি ও প্রজ্বলিত অগ্নি।}" [আল-ইনসান: ৪]।

"{Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze.}" [Al-Insan: 4].
