Questions from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) and Answers from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) Concerning the Women of Paradise

সহীহায়নে (বুখারী ও মুসলিম) হাম্মামের সূত্রে আবু হুরায়রা (রা.) থেকে অনুরূপ বর্ণনা বর্ণিত হয়েছে।

In the Sahihayn (al-Bukhari and Muslim), it is recorded from the narration of Hammam, from Abu Hurayrah, a similar narration.

এর দ্বারা উদ্দেশ্য হলো, এই দু'জন হবেন বনি আদমের কন্যাদের মধ্য থেকে, আর তাদের সাথে থাকবে আয়াতলোচনা হুরদের মধ্য থেকে পরাক্রমশালী ও মহিমাম্বিত আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা করেন তা-ই, যেমনটি ইতিপূর্বে বিস্তারিত আলোচিত হয়েছে, আর আল্লাহই সর্বাধিক অবগত।

What is meant by this is that these two are from the daughters of Adam, and along with them are as many of the wide-eyed maidens (al-Hur al-'Iyn) as Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, wills, just as the detailed explanation of that has been presented previously, and Allah knows best.

ইমাম আহমদ বলেন: আফফান আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, হাম্মাদ ইবনে সালামাহ আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, ইউনুস আমাদের অবহিত করেছেন, মুহাম্মদ ইবনে সিরীন থেকে, তিনি আবু হুরায়রা (রা.) থেকে, তিনি নবী (ﷺ) থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন, তিনি বলেছেন:

Ahmad said: 'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, Yunus informed us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said:

"জান্নাতীদের মধ্যে প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তির জন্য আয়াতলোচনা হুরদের মধ্য থেকে দু'জন স্ত্রী থাকবে। তাদের প্রত্যেকের গায়ে সত্তরটি করে পোশাক থাকবে, যে পোশাকগুলোর ভেতর দিয়েও তাদের নলার মগজ দৃষ্টিগোচর হবে।"

"A man among the people of Paradise shall have two wives from the wide-eyed maidens (al-Hur al-'Iyn); upon each of them are seventy garments, through which the marrow of their shins can be seen from behind their garments."

আর এই হাদিসগুলো সহীহায়নে বর্ণিত সেই হাদিসের সাথে সাংঘর্ষিক নয় যাতে বলা হয়েছে: "আমি জাহান্নামের দিকে দৃষ্টি দিলাম এবং দেখলাম যে, তার অধিকাংশ অধিবাসীই নারী।"

These hadiths do not contradict what is established in the Sahihayn: "I looked into the Hellfire and saw that the majority of its dwellers were women."

কেননা নারীরা একই সাথে জান্নাতেরও অধিকাংশ অধিবাসী হতে পারে এবং জাহান্নামেরও অধিকাংশ অধিবাসী হতে পারে; অথবা তারা প্রাথমিকভাবে জাহান্নামের অধিকাংশ অধিবাসী হবে, অতঃপর শাফাআতের মাধ্যমে তাদের মধ্য থেকে যাদের বের করার বের করা হবে, ফলে তারা জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে এবং পরিশেষে জান্নাতে তাদের সংখ্যাধিক্য ঘটবে, আর আল্লাহই সর্বাধিক অবগত।

For they could be the majority of the inhabitants of Paradise as well as the majority of the inhabitants of the Fire; or they might initially be the majority of the inhabitants of the Fire, but then whoever among them is destined to be taken out through intercessions will come forth and enter Paradise, until the women constitute the majority of its inhabitants, and Allah knows best.

দাররাজের হাদিসে বর্ণিত হয়েছে, তিনি আল-হাইসাম থেকে, তিনি আবু সাঈদ (রা.) থেকে মারফু সূত্রে বর্ণনা করেছেন:

In the hadith of Darraj, from al-Haytham, from Abu Sa'id, attributed marfu'an to the Prophet (ﷺ):

"জান্নাতের একজন ব্যক্তি অন্যপাশে ফেরার পূর্বে সত্তর বছর হেলান দিয়ে বসে থাকবে। অতঃপর তার নিকট এক নারী এসে তার দুই কাঁধে মৃদু আঘাত করবে, তখন সে তার মুখমণ্ডল ঐ নারীর গালে আয়নার চেয়েও উজ্জ্বল ও স্বচ্ছ দেখতে পাবে। তার পরিহিত সবচেয়ে ছোট মুক্তাটিও পূর্ব ও পশ্চিমের মধ্যবর্তী অঞ্চলকে আলোকিত করে দেবে। এরপর সে তাকে সালাম দেবে এবং সেও সালামের উত্তর দিয়ে জিজ্ঞেস করবে, 'তুমি কে?' সে বলবে, 'আমি অতিরিক্ত অনুগ্রহ (আল-মাযীদ) থেকে এসেছি।' সে সত্তরটি পোশাক পরিহিত থাকবে, যার সর্বনিম্নটি নু'মান ফুলের মতো লাল ও কোমল, অথচ তার দৃষ্টি সেগুলোর ভেতর দিয়ে প্রবেশ করে এমনকি তার নলার মগজও এর পেছন থেকে দেখতে পাবে।" ইমাম আহমদ এটি মুসনাদে বর্ণনা করেছেন।

"A man in Paradise will recline for seventy years before turning over. Then a woman will come to him and tap him on his shoulders, and he will look at his face in her cheek, which is clearer than a mirror. Indeed, the smallest pearl upon her illuminates what is between the east and the west. She will greet him with Salam, and he will return the greeting, and ask her, 'Who are you?' She will say, 'I am of the additional bounty (al-Mazid).' She will be wearing seventy garments, the lowest of which is like an anemone blossom, yet his sight will penetrate them until he sees the marrow of her shins from behind that." Ahmad recorded it in al-Musnad.
