Mention of the People of Paradise Beholding Their Lord (Mighty and Majestic is He) on Days Likened to Friday in a Gathering with Him for That Purpose Therein

"'আপনি কি আমাদের পাল্লাসমূহ ভারী করে দেননি, আমাদের মুখমণ্ডল উজ্জ্বল করেননি, আমাদেরকে জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করাননি এবং জাহান্নাম থেকে মুক্তি দেননি?' রাসুলুল্লাহ (ﷺ) বলেন: 'অতঃপর তাদের সামনে থেকে পর্দা উন্মোচন করা হবে, তখন তারা তাঁর দিকে তাকাবে। আল্লাহর শপথ, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাঁর দর্শন লাভের চেয়ে অধিক প্রিয় কিংবা তাদের চক্ষুদ্বয়ের জন্য অধিক শীতলকারী আর কোনো কিছুই প্রদান করেননি।'"

"'Did You not make our scales heavy, brighten our faces, admit us into Paradise, and deliver us from the Fire?' He said: 'Then the veil will be removed, and they will gaze upon Him. By Allah, Allah has not granted them anything more beloved to them than looking at Him, nor anything that brings greater delight to their eyes.'"

আর ইমাম মুসলিমও হাম্মাদ ইবনে সালামাহর সূত্রে বর্ণিত হাদিস থেকে অনুরূপ বর্ণনা করেছেন।

And in this manner, it was narrated by Muslim from the hadith of Hammad ibn Salamah.

আবদুল্লাহ ইবনুল মুবারক বলেন: আমাদের অবহিত করেছেন আবু বকর আল-আলকানি, তিনি বলেন: আমাকে আবু তামিমাহ আল-হুজাইমি জানিয়েছেন, তিনি বলেন: আমি আবু মুসা আল-আশয়ারী (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু)-কে বসরার মিম্বরে খুতবা দিতে শুনেছি, তিনি বলছিলেন: "কিয়ামতের দিন মহান আল্লাহ জান্নাতবাসীদের কাছে একজন ফেরেশতা পাঠাবেন। সে বলবে: 'হে জান্নাতবাসী! আল্লাহ তোমাদের যা ওয়াদা করেছিলেন, তা কি তিনি পূর্ণ করেছেন?' তখন তারা দৃষ্টিপাত করবে এবং অলঙ্কার, পোশাক-পরিচ্ছদ, নহরসমূহ ও পবিত্র সঙ্গিনীদের দেখতে পাবে। অতঃপর তারা বলবে: 'হ্যাঁ, তিনি আমাদের যা প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলেন তা পূর্ণ করেছেন।' তারা এ কথা তিনবার বলবে। তখন ফেরেশতা বলবে: 'এখনও একটি বিষয় বাকি রয়েছে; নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ বলেছেন: {যারা সৎকর্ম করেছে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে কল্যাণ (জান্নাত) এবং আরও অতিরিক্ত কিছু}' [ইউনুস: ২৬]।"

Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak said: Abu Bakr al-Alqani informed us, Abu Tamimah al-Hujaymi informed me, saying: I heard Abu Musa al-Ash'ari delivering a sermon upon the pulpit of Basra, saying: "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will send an angel to the people of Paradise, and he will say: 'O people of Paradise, has Allah fulfilled for you what He promised you?' So they will look and see the ornaments, the robes, the rivers, and the purified spouses, and they will say: 'Yes, He has fulfilled for us what He promised us.' They will say that three times. Then he will say: 'Something still remains; indeed, Allah says: {For those who have done good is the best [reward] and even more} [Yunus: 26].'

"জেনে রেখো, কল্যাণ হলো জান্নাত, আর অতিরিক্ত হলো মহান পরাক্রমশালী আল্লাহর চেহারার দিকে তাকানো (তাঁর দিদার লাভ করা)।" আর এই বর্ণনাটি মওকুফ (সাহাবীর বক্তব্য)।

'Behold, the best reward is Paradise, and the increase is looking upon the Countenance of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.' And this narration is mawquf (halted at the Companion).

ইবনে জারির এবং ইবনে আবি হাতিম আবু তামিমাহ আল-হুজাইমির সূত্রে আবু মুসা আল-আশয়ারী (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু) থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন যে, রাসুলুল্লাহ (ﷺ) বলেছেন:

And Ibn Jarir and Ibn Abi Hatim narrated from the hadith of Abu Tamimah al-Hujaymi, from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ কিয়ামতের দিন একজন ঘোষণাকারীকে পাঠাবেন, যে এমন কণ্ঠে ডেকে বলবে, যা তাদের প্রথম থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত সকলেই শুনতে পাবে: 'হে জান্নাতবাসী! নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে কল্যাণ এবং অতিরিক্ত কিছু দেওয়ার প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলেন। কল্যাণ হলো জান্নাত, আর অতিরিক্ত হলো পরম করুণাময়ের চেহারার দিকে তাকানো (তাঁর দিদার লাভ করা)।'"

"Indeed, Allah will send forth a herald on the Day of Resurrection who will proclaim, 'O people of Paradise!' in a voice audible to the first of them as well as the last of them, 'Indeed, Allah promised you the best reward and an increase. The best reward is Paradise, and the increase is gazing upon the Countenance of the Most Merciful.'"

He also narrated from the hadith of Zuhayr, from someone who heard Abu al-Aliyah saying: Ubayy ibn Ka'b narrated to us that he asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about the words of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic: {For those who have done good is the best [reward] and even more} [Yunus: 26].
