إني قد حدثتكم عن الدجال حتى خشيت أن لا تعقلوا، إن مسيح الدجال رجل قصير، أفحج، جعد، أعور، مطموس العين، ليست بناتئة ولا حجراء، فإن التبس عليكم فاعلموا أن ربكم ليس بأعور، وإنكم لن تروا ربكم حتى تموتوا

Indeed, I have told you about the Dajjal to the point that I feared that you would not understand. Indeed, the Messiah of the Dajjal is a short, unkempt, wrinkled, one-eyed man with dark eyes, neither protruding nor small. If you become confused, know that your Lord is not one-eyed, and that you will not see your Lord until you die.

الدجال أعور عين الشمال، بين جبينه مكتوب: كافر، وعلى عينه ظفرة غليظة ، قال سهل: هو: ك ف ر، والكاف والفاء والراء ملتزق بعضه ببعض كالكتابة

The Dajjal has one eye in the left eye, between his forehead is written: Infidel, and on his eye there is a thick spot. Sahl said: It is: K-F-R, and the K-F, F-R, and R-A are connected to each other like the writing.

يكون قبل خروج الدجال نيف على سبعين دجالا

Before the Dajjal emerges, more than seventy Antichrists will appear

مع الدجال امرأة تسمى طيبة، لا يؤم قرية إلا سبقته إليها، تقول: هذا الرجل داخل عليكم فاحذروه

With the Dajjal is a woman called Taybah. He will not lead a village unless she precedes him to it. She will say: This man is coming upon you, so beware of him

أول الآيات الروم، ثم الثانية الدجال، والثالثة يأجوج ومأجوج، والرابعة عيسى ابن مريم عليه السلام

The first verse is the Romans, then the second is the Dajjal, the third is Gog and Magog, and the fourth is Jesus, son of Mary, peace be upon him.

رجل قد استخفته الأحاديث، كلما وضع أحدوثة كذب وانقطعت مدها بأطول منها، إن يدرك الدجال يتبعه

A man who has been underestimated by hadiths. Every time he fabricates a hadith, he lies, and its duration is cut off for a longer period of time. If the Dajjal catches up with him, he will follow him.

إني أنذرتكموه، وما من نبي إلا أنذر قومه، لقد أنذره نوح قومه، ولكن سأقول لكم فيه قولا لم يقله نبي لقومه، أتعلمون أنه أعور، وأن الله ليس بأعور

Narrated Ibn Umar: (Later on) Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (once again) went along with Ubai bin Ka'b to the garden of date-palms where Ibn Saiyad was staying. When the Prophet entered the garden, he started hiding himself behind the trunks of the date-palms as he wanted to hear something from Ibn Saiyad before the latter could see him. Ibn Saiyad was lying in his bed, covered with a velvet sheet from where his murmurs were heard. Ibn Saiyad's mother saw the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was hiding himself behind the trunks of the date-palms. She addressed Ibn Saiyad, "O Saf!" (And this was his name). Ibn Saiyad got up. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Had this woman let him to himself, he would have revealed the reality of his case." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) got up amongst the people, glorifying Allah as He deserves, he mentioned Ad-Dajjal, saying, "I warn you about him (i.e. Ad-Dajjal) and there is no prophet who did not warn his nation about him, and Noah warned his nation about him, but I tell you a statement which no prophet informed his nation of. You should understand that he is a one-eyed man and Allah is not one-eyed

تعلموا أنه لن يرى أحد منكم ربه حتى يموت، وأنه مكتوب بين عينيه كافر، يقرأه كل مؤمن كره عمله

Az-Zuhri narrated from Salim from Ibn 'Umar who said:"The Messengers of Allah(s.a.w)stood among the people,he praised Allah as is due to Him, then he mentioned the Dajjal and he said: 'Indeed I warn you of him. There has not been a Prophet except that he warned his people, and Nuh indeed warned his people – but I am to say something about him that no Prophet has said to his people: You should know that he is one-eyed, and Allah is certainly not one-eyed.'” Az-Zuhri said: “ `Umar bin Thabit Al-Ansari informed me that some of the Companions of the Prophet(s.a.w) informed him, that one day, the Prophet(s.a.w) was cautioning them against Fitnah and he said: 'You must know that not one of you will ever see his Lord until he dies. And indeed, he(the Dajjal) has “Kafir” written between his eyes; everyone who is averse to his behavior shall read it.'” (Sahih)

بين الملحمة وفتح القسطنطينية ست سنين، ثم يخرج الدجال في السنة السابعة

There were six years between the epic and the conquest of Constantinople, and then the Dajjal would emerge in the seventh year

يأتيهم الخبر وهم يقسمون غنائمهم، إن الدجال قد خرج، وإنما هو كذب، فخذوا ما استطعتم، فإنكم تمكثون ست سنين، ثم يخرج في السابعة

The news comes to them while they are dividing their spoils that the Dajjal has emerged, but he is a lie, so take what you can, for you will stay for six years, then he will emerge on the seventh.

لا يخرج الدجال حتى تفتح المدينة

The Dajjal will not leave until the city is conquered

يا ابن أخي، لعلك تدرك فتح القسطنطينية، فإياك إن أدركت فتحها أن تترك غنيمتك منها، فإن بين فتحها وبين خروج الدجال سبع سنين

O my nephew, perhaps you will realize the conquest of Constantinople. If you achieve its conquest, be careful not to leave your spoils from it, for there will be seven years between its conquest and the emergence of the Dajjal.

يخرج الدجال بعد فتح القسطنطينية قبل نزول عيسى ابن مريم ببيت المقدس

The Dajjal will emerge after the conquest of Constantinople and before the landing of Jesus, son of Mary, in Jerusalem

يأتيهم الخبر أن الدجال قد خرج بعد فتحهم القسطنطينية، فينصرفون، فلا يجدونه، ثم لا يلبثون إلا قليلا حتى يخرج

The news comes to them that the Dajjal has left after they conquered Constantinople, so they leave but do not find him. They only stay for a short time until he leaves.

يكون قبل خروج المسيح الدجال سنوات خدعة، يكذب فيها الصادق، ويصدق فيها الكاذب، ويؤتمن فيها الخائن، ويخون فيها الأمين، ويتكلم الرويبضة الوضيع من الناس

Before the Dajjal emerges, there will be years of deception in which the truthful will lie, the liar will be believed, the traitorous will be trusted, the trustworthy will be betrayed, and the lowly Ruwaibidah among the people will speak.

تكون غزوة في البحر، من غزاها استغنى فلم يفتقر أبدا، ومن لم يغزها لم يثر ماله بعدها إلا ما كان قبل ذلك، ثم يستصعب البحر بعد الغزو ست سنين كما كان، ثم يعود البحر بعد ست سنين كما كان ست سنين، ثم يستصعب ستا، فذلك ثمان عشرة، ثم يخرج الدجال

There will be a raid on the sea, and whoever invades it will become rich and never become poor, and whoever does not conquer it will not gain wealth after it except what it was before that. Then the sea will become difficult after the invasion for six years as it was, then after six years the sea will return as it was for six years, then it will become difficult for six years, so that is eighteen, then the Dajjal will emerge.

قبل خروج الدجال فتن ثلاث، فتنة عثمان، وفتنة ابن الزبير رضي الله عنهما، والثالثة، ثم يخرج الدجال

Before the Dajjal emerges, there will be three trials: the trial of Uthman, the trial of Ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him), and the third. Then the Dajjal will emerge.

بين يدي الدجال ثلاث علامات، ثلاث سنين جوع، وتغيض الأنهار، ويصفر الريحان، وتنزف العيون، وتنتقل مذحج وهمدان من العراق حتى ينزلوا قنسرين وحلب، فعدوا الدجال غاديا في دياركم أو رائحا

There are three signs in the hands of the Dajjal: three years of famine, the rivers will flow, the basil will turn yellow, the eyes will bleed, and Madhaj and Hamdan will move from Iraq until they settle in Qinnasrin and Aleppo, so count the Dajjal as coming or smelling in your homes.

Abu Bahriyyah, a Companion of Mu'adh bin Jabal narrated that the Prophet(s.a.w) said:"The great Malhamah, the conquest of Constantinople, and the coming of the Dajjal occur in (the span of) seven months

وأنا صفوان، عن أبي اليمان، عن كعب، مثله

He said: And I am Safwan, on the authority of Abu Al-Yaman, on the authority of Ka’b, and the same

الملحمة العظمى، وفتح القسطنطينية، وخروج الدجال في سبعة أشهر

Abu Bahriyyah, a Companion of Mu'adh bin Jabal narrated that the Prophet(s.a.w) said:"The great Malhamah, the conquest of Constantinople, and the coming of the Dajjal occur in (the span of) seven months

الملحمة العظمى، وخراب القسطنطينية، وخروج الدجال، حمل امرأة

The great epic, the destruction of Constantinople, the emergence of the Dajjal, and the pregnancy of a woman
