Shamelessness and the Euphrates Uncovering a Mountain of Gold
قلة الحياء وانحسار الفرات عن جبل من ذهب
قال عبد الملك: وبلغني عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص أنه قال: لا تقوم الساعة حتى يمشي الناس عرايا في السكك من قلة الحياء لا يلبسون ثوبا ويركب بعضهم بعضا كتسافد البهائم ولا تقوم الساعة حتى يحفر في بئر طريقه سبعون ذراعا (باعا) لا يدرك فيها الماء وحتى يحسر الفرات بالكوفة عن جبل من ذهب فيقتتلون عليه فيقتتل من كل عشرة تسعة.
আব্দুল মালিক বলেন: আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনে আমর ইবনুল আস (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু) থেকে আমার নিকট বর্ণনা পৌঁছেছে যে, তিনি বলেছেন: "কিয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে না যে পর্যন্ত না মানুষ চরম নির্লজ্জতার কারণে কোনো পোশাক পরিধান না করে প্রকাশ্য রাস্তায় উলঙ্গ হয়ে বিচরণ করবে এবং চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর মতো একে অপরের ওপর উপগত হবে। কিয়ামত ততদিন সংঘটিত হবে না যতদিন না পথের পাশের কোনো কূপ সত্তর হাত (বা গজ) গভীর খনন করা সত্ত্বেও তাতে পানির দেখা মিলবে না; এবং যতদিন না কুফার নিকট ফোরাত নদী তার গর্ভ থেকে একটি স্বর্ণের পাহাড় উন্মোচন করবে, যার জন্য মানুষ যুদ্ধে লিপ্ত হবে এবং প্রতি দশ জনের মধ্যে নয় জনই নিহত হবে।"
Abd al-Malik said: It reached me on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The Hour shall not arrive until people walk naked in the streets out of extreme shamelessness, wearing no clothes at all, and mounting one another just as beasts mate. Nor shall the Hour arrive until a well along the road is dug to a depth of seventy cubits (or fathoms) without reaching any water; and until the Euphrates at al-Kufah recedes, uncovering a mountain of gold, over which people will fight, such that out of every ten, nine will be killed."
