في ولاية السفياني الثاني ترى علامة في السماء

لا يخرج السفياني حتى ترقى الظلمة

The Sufyani will not emerge until the darkness is cleared

لا يخرج المهدي حتى يكفر بالله جهرة

The Mahdi will not emerge until he denies Allah openly

▸Chain

حدثنا ضمرة، عن ابن شوذب، عن ابن سيرين، قال: لا يخرج المهدي حتى يقتل من كل تسعة سبعة "

Damrah told us, on the authority of Ibn Shawdhab, on the authority of Ibn Sirin, who said: The Mahdi will not emerge until he kills seven out of every nine.

The Mahdi will not emerge until a third is killed, a third dies, and a third remains

لا يخرج المهدي حتى يبصق بعضكم في وجه بعض

علامة خروج المهدي إذا خسف بجيش البيداء فهو علامة خروج المهدي

The sign of the Mahdi’s exit is that if the army of Al-Baida is eclipsed, it is a sign of the Mahdi’s exit

اجتماع الناس على المهدي سنة أربع ومائتين قال ابن لهيعة: بحساب العجم ليس بحساب العرب

The gathering of people against the Mahdi in the year two hundred and four. Ibn Lahi’a said: According to the non-Arabs, not according to the Arabs

علامة المهدي إذا انساب عليكم الترك، ومات خليفتكم الذي يجمع الأموال، ويستخلف بعده ضعيف فيخلع بعد سنتين من بيعته، ويخسف بغربي مسجد دمشق، وخروج ثلاثة نفر بالشام، وخروج أهل المغرب إلى مصر، وتلك أمارة السفياني قال أبو عبد الله نعيم:

The sign of the Mahdi is when the Turks descend upon you, and your caliph who collects money dies, and a weak person is appointed as his successor, and he is deposed two years after his pledge of allegiance, and the western part of the Damascus Mosque is eclipsed, and the departure of three people from the Sham (Greater Syria), and the departure of the people of the Maghreb to Egypt, and that is the leadership of the Sufyani.

لا يخرج المهدي حتى يخرج الرجل بالجارية الحسناء الجمال فيقول: من يشتري هذه بوزنها طعاما؟ ثم يخرج المهدي

The Mahdi will not come out until a man brings out a beautiful slave girl and says: Who will buy this for her weight in food? Then the Mahdi will emerge

إذا نادى مناد من السماء: إن الحق في آل محمد، فعند ذلك يظهر المهدي على أفواه الناس، ويشربون حبه، ولا يكون لهم ذكر غيره

If a caller calls from heaven: The truth is in the family of Muhammad, then the Mahdi will appear in the mouths of the people, and they will drink in his love, and they will not have mention of anyone else.

تكون فتن، ثم تكون جماعة على رأس رجل من أهل بيتي، ليس له عند الله خلاق، فيقتل أو يموت فيقوم المهدي

There will be temptations, then there will be a group headed by a man from my family, who has no share with Allah, and he will be killed or die, and then the Mahdi will arise.

لا يخرج المهدي حتى لا يبقى قيل ولا ابن قيل إلا هلك، والقيل: الرأس

The Mahdi will not emerge until there is no Qalil or Ibn Qalil left except that he perishes, and it is said: the head

يملك رجل من بني هاشم فيقتل بني أمية حتى لا يبقى منهم إلا اليسير، لا يقتل غيرهم، ثم يخرج رجل من بني أمية فيقتل لكل رجل اثنين، حتى لا يبقى إلا النساء ثم يخرج المهدي قال أبو عبد الله نعيم:

A man from the Banu Hashim reigns and kills the Umayyads until only a few of them remain, and no one else is killed. Then a man from the Umayyads emerges and kills two for each man, until only the women remain. Then the Mahdi emerges.

يحسر الفرات عن جبل من ذهب وفضة، فيقتل عليه من كل تسعة سبعة، فإن أدركتموه فلا تقربوه

The Euphrates will uncover a mountain of gold and silver, and seven out of every nine will be killed for it. If you reach it, do not approach it.

تدوم الفتنة الرابعة اثني عشر عاما، تنجلي حين تنجلي وقد انحسر الفرات عن جبل من ذهب، فيقتل عليه من كل تسعة سبعة

The fourth sedition lasts for twelve years, and it will clear up when it clears, and the Euphrates has receded from a mountain of gold, so seven out of every nine will be killed on it.

کعب الاحبار سے منسوب (خودکار اندازہ): سابقہ صحیفوں کی روایت، نبی ﷺ کی حدیث نہیں۔

يكون ناحية الفرات في ناحية الشام أو بعدها بقليل مجتمع عظيم فيقتتلون على الأموال، فيقتل من كل تسعة سبعة، وذاك بعد الهدة والواهية في شهر رمضان، وبعد افتراق ثلاث رايات، يطلب كل واحد منهم الملك لنفسه، فيهم رجل اسمه عبد الله

There will be a large community in the Euphrates region in the Sham (Greater Syria) region, or a little after it, and they will fight over money, and seven out of every nine will be killed, and that will happen after the guidance and failure in the month of Ramadan, and after the separation of three banners, each one of them will seek kingship for himself, and among them is a man named Abdullah.

الفتنة الرابعة ثمانية عشر عاما، ثم تنجلي حين تنجلي وقد انحسر الفرات عن جبل من ذهب، تكب عليه الأمة، فيقتل عليه من كل تسعة سبعة

The fourth trial lasts eighteen years, then it clears up when it clears, and the Euphrates has receded, creating a mountain of gold upon which the nation will fall, and seven out of every nine will be killed.

يؤمر من آل أبي سفيان الثاني أميرا على الموسم، ويبعث معه بعثا، فإذا كانوا بالموسم سمعوا مناديا من السماء: ألا إن الأمير فلان، وينادي مناد من الأرض: كذب، وينادي مناد من السماء: صدق، فيطول ذلك فلا يدرون أيهما يتبعون، وإنما يصدق من في السماء الصوت الثاني الذي ينادي من السماء أول مرة، فإذا سمعتم ذلك فاعلموا أن كلمة الله هي العليا، وكلمة الشيطان هي السفلى

A prince from the family of Abu Sufyan II will be appointed as a prince for the season, and a delegation will be sent with him. When they are at the season, they hear a caller from the sky: Indeed, the prince is so-and-so, and a caller from the earth calls out: He has lied, and a caller from the sky calls out: He has told the truth. This goes on for a long time, so they do not know which one to follow. Rather, those in the sky believe the second voice that calls from the sky for the first time. So if you hear that, know that the word of Allah is the highest, and the word of Satan is the lowest.

كلا يا بني، ولكن بعدها فتنة يهلك فيها الناس، لا يستقيم أمرهم حتى ينادي مناد من السماء: عليكم بفلان

No, my son, but after it will be a trial in which the people will perish, and their affairs will not be settled until a caller calls from the sky: “You are upon so-and-so.”

تكون فتنة بالشام، كأن أولها لعب الصبيان، ثم لا يستقيم أمر الناس على شيء، ولا تكون لهم جماعة حتى ينادي مناد من السماء: عليكم بفلان، وتطلع كف تشير

There will be a turmoil in the Sham (Greater Syria), as if the beginning of it was boys’ play, then the people’s affairs would not be settled on anything, and they would not have a group until a caller called from the sky: “You have come to so-and-so,” and a palm would appear indicating.

ينادي مناد من السماء: أميركم فلان

Ibn Wahb told us, on the authority of Iyadh ibn Abdullah al-Fihri, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Yazid ibn al-Muhajir, on the authority of Ibn al-Musayyab, and something similar, except that he said: “A caller calls from the sky: Your prince is so-and-so.”
