The Seal of Solomon and the Staff of Moses

আব্দুল মালিক বলেন: আবু মুআবিয়া আল-মাদানি আমার নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন ইয়াযিদ ইবনে ইয়াদ থেকে, তিনি আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনে আমর ইবনুল আস (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) থেকে, তিনি বলেন: "ভূগর্ভস্থ প্রাণীটি (দাব্বাতুল আরদ) আত্মপ্রকাশ করবে এবং তার সাথে থাকবে সুলাইমান (আ.)-এর আংটি ও মূসা (আ.)-এর লাঠি। কাফিরের ক্ষেত্রে, সে তার দুই চোখের মাঝে সুলাইমানের আংটি দিয়ে মোহরাংকিত করবে, যার ফলে তার চেহারা কালো হয়ে যাবে। আর মুমিনের ক্ষেত্রে, সে তার মুখমণ্ডলে মূসার লাঠি বুলিয়ে দেবে, যার ফলে তার চেহারা শুভ্র-উজ্জ্বল হয়ে উঠবে; এবং মুমিনের ক্ষেত্রে, সে তার মুখমণ্ডলে মূসার লাঠি বুলিয়ে দেবে, যার ফলে তার চেহারা শুভ্র-উজ্জ্বল হয়ে উঠবে।"

Abd al-Malik said: Abu Mu'awiyah al-Madani narrated to me, on the authority of Yazid ibn 'Iyad, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), that he said: "The Beast shall emerge bearing the ring of Solomon and the staff of Moses. As for the disbeliever, it will seal between his eyes with the ring of Solomon, whereupon his face will turn pitch-black; and as for the believer, it will wipe his face with the staff of Moses, whereupon his face will turn radiant white; and as for the believer, it will wipe his face with the staff of Moses, whereupon his face will turn radiant white."
