The Indication of the Qur'an Regarding the Punishment of the Grave
وقد دل القرآن على عذاب القبر في مواضع كقوله تعالى: {ولو ترى إذ الظالمون في غمرات الموت والملائكة باسطو أيديهم أخرجوا أنفسكم اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون بما كنتم تقولون على الله غير الحق وكنتم عن آياته تستكبرون} [الأنعام: 93] . #
কুরআন একাধিক স্থানে কবরের শাস্তির সুস্পষ্ট ইঙ্গিত দিয়েছে, যেমন মহান আল্লাহর বাণী: {আর আপনি যদি দেখতে পেতেন যখন জালিমরা মৃত্যুযন্ত্রণায় নিমজ্জিত থাকে এবং ফেরেশতারা হাত বাড়িয়ে বলতে থাকে, 'তোমাদের প্রাণ বের করো! আজ তোমাদের অপমানজনক শাস্তি প্রদান করা হবে, কারণ তোমরা আল্লাহ সম্বন্ধে অসত্য বলতে এবং তাঁর আয়াতসমূহের ব্যাপারে অহংকার প্রদর্শন করতে।'} [সূরা আল-আন'আম: ৯৩]।
The Qur'an has indicated the punishment of the grave in several places, such as the statement of Allah, the Exalted: "And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the agonies of death while the angels stretch forth their hands, [saying], 'Yield up your souls! This day you shall be recompensed with the punishment of humiliation because of what you used to say against Allah other than the truth, and that you were arrogant toward His verses.'" [Al-An'am: 93].
