تتمة الحديث 177: الآثار المروية عن الصحابة والتابعين في المهدي

- قلت : هذا إسناد صحيح, وهذا أخف من اللفظ الأول, والأوجه عندي تأويل اللفظين على ما أول عليه حديث (( بل أجر خمسين منكم ))لشدة الفتن في زمان المهدي وتمالئ الروم بأسرها عليه , ومحاصرة الدجال له , وليس المراد بهذا التفضيل , والراجع إلى زيادة الثواب والرفعة عند الله, فالأحاديث الصحيحة والإجماع على أن أبا بكر وعمر أفضل الخلق بعد النبيين والمرسلين

আমি (আস-সুয়ূতী) বলছি: এ সনদটি সহীহ (বিশুদ্ধ), এবং এই পাঠটি পূর্ববর্তী পাঠের তুলনায় অপেক্ষাকৃত নমনীয়। আমার দৃষ্টিতে সর্বাধিক যুক্তিযুক্ত পন্থা হলো, উভয় পাঠকে সেভাবেই ব্যাখ্যা করা যেভাবে "বরং তোমাদের পঞ্চাশ জনের সাওয়াব" হাদিসটির ব্যাখ্যা করা হয়েছে। এর কারণ হলো মাহদীর যুগে ফিতনার চরম তীব্রতা, সমগ্র রোমক (বাইজেন্টাইন) শক্তির তার বিরুদ্ধে ঐক্যবদ্ধ হওয়া এবং দাজ্জাল কর্তৃক তাকে অবরুদ্ধ করা। এর দ্বারা সার্বিক শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব কিংবা আল্লাহর নিকট মর্যাদা ও সাওয়াবের সর্বতোমুখী আধিক্য উদ্দেশ্য নয়; কেননা সহীহ হাদিসসমূহ ও সর্বসম্মত ঐকমত্য (ইজমা) দ্বারা এটি প্রতিষ্ঠিত যে, নবী ও রাসুলগণের পর সমগ্র সৃষ্টির মধ্যে আবু বকর ও উমর (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা)-ই হলেন সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ।

I say: This is an authentic chain of transmission (isnad sahih), and this wording is milder than the first wording. In my view, the most appropriate course is to interpret both wordings in the same manner as the hadith: "Rather, the reward of fifty of you," due to the severity of tribulations during the time of al-Mahdi, the convergence of all the Romans (Byzantines) against him, and the Dajjal besieging him. Absolute superiority is not intended by this, nor is it referring to an increase in absolute reward and elevated station before Allah, for authentic hadiths and scholarly consensus (ijma') firmly establish that Abu Bakr and 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) are the best of creation after the Prophets and Messengers.
