Hadith 13: The Imminence and Approaching of the Day of Resurrection
الحديث 13: ذكر تقريب يوم القيامة
13 - دثنا خالد بن خداش، دثنا عبد الله بن وهب، عن بكر بن مضر، قال:
১৩. খালিদ ইবন খিদাশ আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, তিনি বলেন: আব্দুল্লাহ ইবন ওয়াহাব আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন বকর ইবন মুদার থেকে, তিনি বলেন:
13. Khalid ibn Khidash narrated to us, saying: 'Abdullah ibn Wahb narrated to us, from Bakr ibn Mudar, who said:
كان أبوالهيثم قد مات ولده وبقي له بني صغير فمات، فقام أصحابه يعزونه، وهو في ناحية المسجد مكتئب حزين، فقال: «ما تركني حزن يوم القيامة آسى على ما فاتني، ولا أفرح بما آتاني»
"আবুল হাইসামের সন্তানরা আগেই মারা গিয়েছিল এবং কেবল একটি ছোট ছেলে অবশিষ্ট ছিল, অতঃপর সেও মৃত্যুবরণ করল। তখন তাঁর সঙ্গীরা তাঁকে সান্ত্বনা দিতে এগিয়ে এলেন, আর তিনি মসজিদের এক কোণে বিষণ্ণ ও শোকাহত অবস্থায় ছিলেন। তিনি বললেন: 'কিয়ামত দিবসের শোক ও দুশ্চিন্তা আমার মাঝে এমন কিছু অবশিষ্ট রাখেনি যে আমি যা হারিয়েছি তার জন্য আক্ষেপ করব, কিংবা যা আমাকে দেওয়া হয়েছে তা নিয়ে আনন্দিত হব।'"
"Abu al-Haytham had previously lost his children, and only one young son was left to him, who then also died. His companions stood up to offer him condolences while he was in a corner of the mosque, sorrowful and despondent. He said: 'The grief of the Day of Resurrection has not left me with any sorrow for what has passed me by, nor any rejoicing over what has been given to me.'"
