وأما سيرته
صافية، كما مر في صفة الدجال، لا يجد ريح نفسه أي عيسى عليه السلام، كافر إلا مات.
...পরিচ্ছন্ন ও নির্মল, যেমনটি ইতিপূর্বে দাজ্জালের বর্ণনায় উল্লেখিত হয়েছে; তাঁর (অর্থাৎ ঈসা আলাইহিস সালামের) নিঃশ্বাসের ঘ্রাণ কোনো কাফেরের কাছে পৌঁছলেই সে মৃত্যুবরণ করবে।
...pure, as mentioned previously regarding the description of the Dajjal; no disbeliever will perceive the fragrance of his breath (that is, Isa, peace be upon him) except that he will die.
: فقد تقدم أنه يدق الصليب، ويقتل الخنزير، ويقتل القرد، ويضع الجزية فلا يقبل إلا الإسلام، ويتحد الدين فلا يعبد إلا الله، ويترك الصدقة أي الزكاة لعدم من يقبلها وتظهر الكنوز في زمنه، ولا يرغب في اقتناء المال، ويرفع الشحناء والتباغض وينزع سم كل ذي سم، حتى تلعب الأولاد بالحيات والعقارب فلا تضرهم، ويرعى الذئب مع الشاة فلا يضرها، ويملأ الأرض سلما وينعدم القتال، وتنبت الأرض نبتها كعهد آدم، حتى يجتمع النفر على القطف من العنب فيشبعهم وكذا الرمانة وترخص الخيل لعدم القتال، ويغلو الثور لأن الأرض تحرث كلها ويكون مقررا لشريعة المصطفى - صلى الله عليه وسلم -، لا أنه رسول لهذه الأمة، ويكون قد علم بأمر الله في السماء قبل أن ينزل وهو نبي، وزعم بعض العلماء أن نزول عيسى عليه السلام، يرفع التكليف قالوا: لئلا يكون رسولا إلى أهل ذلك الزمان يأمرهم عن الله وينهاهم، وهذا مردود بالأخبار الواردة أنه مقرر لهذه الشريعة، ومجدد لها إذ هي آخر الشرائع ونبينا - صلى الله عليه وسلم -، آخر الرسل، وأيضا فإن بقاء الدنيا إنما يكون بمقتضى التكليف، إلي أن لا يقال في الأرض الله الله. ذكره القرطبي في "التذكرة" .
নিশ্চয় ইতিপূর্বে বর্ণিত হয়েছে যে, তিনি ক্রুশ ভেঙে ফেলবেন, শূকর হত্যা করবেন, বানর বধ করবেন, এবং জিযিয়া রহিত করবেন, ফলে ইসলাম ছাড়া আর কিছুই গ্রহণ করা হবে না। দীন একীভূত হয়ে যাবে, ফলে এক আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কারও ইবাদত করা হবে না। সদকা অর্থাৎ যাকাত পরিত্যাগ করা হবে, কারণ তা গ্রহণ করার মতো কেউ থাকবে না। তাঁর যুগে গুপ্তধনসমূহ প্রকাশ পাবে এবং ধন-সম্পদ সঞ্চয়ের কোনো লোভ অবশিষ্ট থাকবে না। পারস্পরিক বিদ্বেষ ও শত্রুতা দূরীভূত হবে এবং প্রতিটি বিষাক্ত প্রাণীর বিষ হরণ করা হবে, এমনকি শিশুরা সাপ ও বিছার সাথে খেলা করবে কিন্তু সেগুলো তাদের কোনো ক্ষতি করবে না, এবং নেকড়ে ভেড়ার সাথে বিচরণ করবে অথচ তাকে আক্রমণ করবে না। সমগ্র পৃথিবী শান্তিতে পরিপূর্ণ হবে, যুদ্ধবিগ্রহ বিলুপ্ত হবে, এবং আদম (আলাইহিস সালাম)-এর যুগের মতো জমিন তার ফলফলাদি উৎপন্ন করবে, এমনকি একদল লোক আঙুরের একটিমাত্র থোকা খেয়ে তৃপ্ত হবে এবং একটি ডালিমের ক্ষেত্রেও তাই ঘটবে। যুদ্ধ না থাকার কারণে ঘোড়া সস্তা হয়ে যাবে এবং বলদের মূল্য বৃদ্ধি পাবে, কারণ সমগ্র জমি চাষাবাদ করা হবে। তদুপরি, তিনি হবেন মুস্তফা (ﷺ)-এর শরীয়তের একজন সমর্থক ও বাস্তবায়নকারী, এই উম্মতের প্রতি নতুন কোনো রাসুল হিসেবে নয়; অবতরণের পূর্বেই আকাশে আল্লাহর নির্দেশে তাঁকে এ বিষয়ে অবগত করা হবে, যদিও তিনি একজন নবী। কোনো কোনো আলেম দাবি করেছেন যে, ঈসা (আলাইহিস সালাম)-এর অবতরণ শারয়ী দায়িত্ব (তাকলিফ) রহিত করে দেবে। তারা বলেন: 'যেন তিনি সে যুগের মানুষের প্রতি নতুন কোনো রাসুল না হন, যিনি আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে তাদের আদেশ-নিষেধ করবেন।' কিন্তু এ দাবিটি সেইসব অকাট্য হাদীস দ্বারা প্রত্যাখ্যাত, যাতে বলা হয়েছে যে তিনি এই শরীয়তের সমর্থক ও সংস্কারক হিসেবে আবির্ভূত হবেন; কারণ এটিই সর্বশেষ শরীয়ত এবং আমাদের নবী (ﷺ) সর্বশেষ রাসুল। তাছাড়া, পৃথিবীতে শারয়ী দায়িত্ব ও জবাবদিহিতার আলোকেই এই দুনিয়ার অস্তিত্ব টিকে থাকবে, যতক্ষণ না জমিনে 'আল্লাহ, আল্লাহ' বলার মতো কেউ না থাকে। ইমাম কুরতুবী তাঁর 'আত-তাযকিরাহ' গ্রন্থে এটি উল্লেখ করেছেন।
It has indeed preceded that he will break the cross, kill the swine, kill the ape, and abolish the jizyah, accepting nothing except Islam. Religion will become unified, such that none will be worshipped except Allah alone. Sadaqah (that is, Zakat) will be abandoned for lack of anyone who will accept it, treasures will emerge during his era, and people will harbor no desire to amass wealth. Rancor and mutual hatred will be lifted, and venom will be stripped from every venomous creature, so much so that children will play with snakes and scorpions without coming to harm, and the wolf will graze alongside the sheep without harming it. Peace will fill the earth, fighting will cease, and the earth will bring forth its vegetation as it did in the era of Adam, until a group of people will gather around a single cluster of grapes and it will suffice them, and likewise with a single pomegranate. Horses will become cheap due to the cessation of war, while oxen will become expensive because the entire earth will be ploughed. Furthermore, he will act as an upholder of the Shari'ah of the Chosen One (ﷺ), not as a messenger sent unto this Ummah; and he will have already been taught by the command of Allah in the heavens before his descent, while remaining a prophet. Some scholars claimed that the descent of Isa (peace be upon him) will lift religious obligations (taklif). They argued: 'Lest he be considered a messenger to the people of that time, commanding and forbidding them on Allah's behalf.' However, this assertion is refuted by the transmitted narrations establishing that he is an upholder and renewer of this Shari'ah, for it is the final of all divine laws, and our Prophet (ﷺ) is the seal of the Messengers. Moreover, the continuance of the worldly realm depends upon the requirement of religious obligation, until it is no longer said upon the earth, 'Allah, Allah.' Al-Qurtubi mentioned this in al-Tadhkirah.
