الفصل السادس في طلوع الشمس من مغربها

وعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال: الآية التي تختم الأعمال بها طلوع الشمس من مغربها.
এবং ইবনে মাসউদ (রাযিয়াল্লাহু আনহু) থেকে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন: "যে নিদর্শনের মাধ্যমে আমলসমূহ সমাপ্ত বা সিলগালা করে দেওয়া হবে, তা হলো পশ্চিমাকাশ থেকে সূর্যোদয়।"
And on the authority of Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "The sign by which deeds are sealed is the rising of the sun from its west."
قال: فهذه آثار يشد بعضها بعضا، متفقة على أنه إذا طلعت الشمس من المغرب أغلق باب التوبة، ولم يفتح بعد ذلك ولا يختص ذلك بطلوعها، بل يمتد إلى يوم القيامة، ويؤيده ما يأتي: أن إبليس يخر ساجدا، وأن الدابة تقتله، فإنه لا يموت إلا عند الفراغ من العمل، والله أعلم.
তিনি বলেন: "এগুলো এমন কিছু বর্ণনা যা পরস্পরকে সুদৃঢ় করে এবং এ বিষয়ে একমত যে, যখন পশ্চিমাকাশ থেকে সূর্য উদিত হবে, তখন তাওবার দরজা বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে এবং এরপর তা আর কখনো খোলা হবে না। এটি কেবল সূর্যোদয়ের সময়ের সাথেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়, বরং কিয়ামত পর্যন্ত অব্যাহত থাকবে। পরবর্তী বর্ণনাটিও এর সমর্থন যোগায়: ইবলিস সিজদায় লুটিয়ে পড়বে এবং দাব্বা (ভূগর্ভস্থ প্রাণী) তাকে হত্যা করবে; কেননা সে কেবল তখনই মৃত্যুবরণ করবে যখন আমলের অবকাশ সম্পূর্ণ শেষ হয়ে যাবে। আর আল্লাহই সর্বজ্ঞাত।"
He said: "These narrations reinforce one another, all agreeing that when the sun rises from the west, the gate of repentance will be closed and will never be opened thereafter. This is not restricted merely to the moment of its rising, but rather extends until the Day of Resurrection. This is further corroborated by what follows: that Iblis will fall down in prostration, and that the Beast will slay him; for indeed, he will not die until the period of deeds has come to an end. And Allah knows best."
