...the ceiling would collapse upon us. Nonetheless, Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah narrated from him, and his death was in the year one hundred and sixty-six.
: في أواخر مستدرك الحاكم أن معها عصا موسى، وخاتم سليمان عليهما السلام، لا يدركها طالب ولا يعجزها هارب، تضرب المؤمن بالعصا، وتكتب في وجهه مؤمن، وتطبع الكافر بالخاتم ، وتكتب في وجهه كافر. كذا رواه عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه .
: আল-হাকিমের 'আল-মুসতাদরাক'-এর শেষভাগে বর্ণিত রয়েছে যে, তার সাথে মুসা (আ.)-এর লাঠি এবং সুলাইমান (আ.)-এর আংটি থাকবে; কোনো অন্বেষণকারী তাকে ধরতে পারবে না এবং কোনো পলায়নকারীও তার নাগালের বাইরে যেতে পারবে না। সে মুমিনকে লাঠি দিয়ে স্পর্শ করবে এবং তার চেহারায় 'মুমিন' লিখে দেবে, আর কাফিরকে আংটি দিয়ে মোহরাঙ্কিত করবে এবং তার চেহারায় 'কাফির' লিখে দেবে। এভাবেই এটি আবু হুরায়রা (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত হয়েছে।
: In the latter part of al-Mustadrak by al-Hakim, it is recorded that with it will be the staff of Musa and the ring of Sulayman (peace be upon them both); no pursuer can overtake it, nor can any fugitive escape it. It will strike the believer with the staff and write 'believer' upon his face, and it will stamp the disbeliever with the ring and write 'disbeliever' upon his face. Thus it was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him).
قال العلماء تبعا للحديث النبوي: "أن معها عصا موسى وخاتم سليمان عليهم الصلاة والسلام، وتنادي بأعلى صوتها: إن الناس كانوا بآياتنا لا يوقنون، وتسم الناس المؤمن والكافر، فأما المؤمن فيرى وجهه كأنه كوكب دري، ويكتب بين عينيه مؤمن وأما الكافر فتنكت بين عينيه نكتة سوداء، ويكتب بين عينيه كافر" وفي رواية: "فتلقى المؤمن، فتسمه في وجهه نكتة، فيبيض لها وجهه وتسم الكافر نكتة يسود لها وجهه" وفي رواية: "فتجلو وجه المؤمن بالعصا، وتختم أنف الكافر بالخاتم حتى إن أهل الخوان ليجتمعون، فيقولون لهذا: يا مؤمن ولهذا يا كافر ويتعوذ بعض الناس منها بالصلاة، فتأتيه
উলামায়ে কেরাম নবীজি (ﷺ)-এর হাদিস অনুসরণ করে বলেন: "তার সাথে মুসা ও সুলাইমান (আলাইহিমাস সালাতু ওয়াস সালাম)-এর লাঠি ও আংটি থাকবে, এবং সে উচ্চৈঃস্বরে ঘোষণা করবে: 'নিশ্চয়ই মানুষ আমার নিদর্শনসমূহে দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস পোষণ করত না।' সে মানুষদের-মুমিন ও কাফির উভয়কে-চিহ্নিত করবে। মুমিনের ক্ষেত্রে, তার চেহারা উজ্জ্বল নক্ষত্রের ন্যায় প্রতীয়মান হবে এবং তার দুই চোখের মাঝে 'মুমিন' লেখা হবে। আর কাফিরের ক্ষেত্রে, তার দুই চোখের মাঝে একটি কালো দাগ অঙ্কিত করা হবে এবং তার দুই চোখের মাঝে 'কাফির' লেখা হবে।" অন্য এক বর্ণনায় এসেছে: "সে মুমিনের সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করে তার চেহারায় একটি চিহ্ন এঁকে দেবে, যার কারণে তার মুখমণ্ডল উজ্জ্বল শুভ্র হয়ে যাবে; আর কাফিরের চেহারায় এমন একটি চিহ্ন আঁকবে যার ফলে তার মুখমণ্ডল কালো হয়ে যাবে।" অপর এক বর্ণনায় রয়েছে: "সে লাঠি দিয়ে মুমিনের চেহারা উজ্জ্বল করবে এবং আংটি দিয়ে কাফিরের নাকে মোহর এঁকে দেবে, এমনকি দস্তরখানে সমবেত ব্যক্তিরা একত্রিত হয়ে একে অপরকে বলবে: 'হে মুমিন!' এবং অন্যজনকে বলবে: 'হে কাফির!' আবার কিছু মানুষ তা থেকে বাঁচতে সালাতের মাধ্যমে আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করবে, কিন্তু সে তার কাছেও চলে আসবে..."
The scholars said, following the Prophetic hadith: "With it will be the staff of Musa and the ring of Sulayman (peace and blessings be upon them), and it will proclaim at the top of its voice: 'Indeed, mankind had no certainty in Our signs.' It will brand the people, both the believer and the disbeliever. As for the believer, his face will appear as though it were a shining star, and 'believer' will be written between his eyes. As for the disbeliever, a black dot will be marked between his eyes, and 'disbeliever' will be written between his eyes." And in another narration: "It will meet the believer and mark a spot upon his face, whereupon his face will become radiant white, and it will mark the disbeliever with a spot, whereupon his face will turn black." And in another narration: "It will brighten the face of the believer with the staff and seal the nose of the disbeliever with the ring, to the extent that the people of a dining table will gather together and say to this one: 'O believer!' and to that one: 'O disbeliever!' And some people will seek refuge from it through prayer, but it will come to him..."
