الفصل السادس في طلوع الشمس من مغربها
إيمانها لم تكن آمنت من قبل أو كسبت في إيمانها خيرا} [الأنعام: 158]، وعند البيهقي "فيذهب الناس فيتصدقون بالذهب الأحمر، فلا يقبل منهم ويقال: لو كان بالأمس" .
"...তার ঈমান [কোনো উপকারে আসবে না], যদি সে পূর্বে ঈমান না এনে থাকে কিংবা স্বীয় ঈমানের মাধ্যমে কোনো কল্যাণ অর্জন না করে থাকে} [সূরা আল-আন'আম: ১৫৮]। ইমাম বায়হাক্বীর বর্ণনায় রয়েছে: 'অতঃপর মানুষ বের হয়ে লাল সোনা সদকা করতে চাইবে, কিন্তু তাদের কাছ থেকে তা গ্রহণ করা হবে না এবং বলা হবে: হায়, এটি যদি গতকাল হতো (তবে তা গৃহীত হতো)!'।"
"...its faith, if it had not believed before or earned good through its faith} [Surah al-An'am: 158]. And in the narration of al-Bayhaqi: 'Then people will go out seeking to give red gold in charity, but it will not be accepted from them, and it will be said: If only this had been yesterday!'"
وأخرج ابن مردويه عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال: "لا تزال الشمسر تجري من مشرقها إلى مغربها، حتى بأتي الوقت الذي جعل الله لتوبة عباده، فتستأذن الشمس من أين تطلع؟ ويستأذن القمر من أين يطلع؟
ইবন মারদুওয়াইহ হযরত ইবন আব্বাস (রাযিয়াল্লাহু আনহুমা) থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন, তিনি বলেন: "সূর্য নিরবচ্ছিন্নভাবে তার পূর্ব দিক থেকে পশ্চিম দিকে চলতে থাকবে, যে পর্যন্ত না আল্লাহ তাআলা স্বীয় বান্দাদের তওবার জন্য নির্ধারিত সময়টি উপস্থিত করেন। অতঃপর সূর্য অনুমতি প্রার্থনা করে বলবে: 'আমি কোথা থেকে উদিত হব?' এবং চন্দ্রও অনুমতি চেয়ে বলবে: 'আমি কোথা থেকে উদিত হব?'
Ibn Mardawayh recorded from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: "The sun will continue to traverse from its east to its west until the appointed time that Allah has ordained for the repentance of His servants arrives. Thereupon, the sun will seek permission, asking: 'From where shall I rise?' and the moon will likewise seek permission, asking: 'From where shall I rise?'
فلا يؤذن لهما: فيحبسان مقدار ثلاث ليال للشمس، وليلتين للقمر، فلا يعرف مقدار حبسهما إلا قليل من الناس، وهم بقية أهل الأرض، وحملة القرآن يقرأ كل رجل منهم ورده في تلك الليلة، حتى إذا فرغ منه نظر فإذا ليلته على حالها، فيعود ويقرأ ورده، فإذا فرغ نظر فإذا ليلته على حالها فلا يعرف ذلك إلا حملة القرآن، فينادي بعضهم بعضا: فيجتمعون في مساجدهم بالتضرع والبكاء والصراخ بقية تلك الليلة.
কিন্তু তাদের কাউকেই অনুমতি দেওয়া হবে না। ফলে সূর্যের ক্ষেত্রে তিন রাতের পরিমাণ এবং চন্দ্রের ক্ষেত্রে দুই রাতের পরিমাণ সময় তাদের অবরুদ্ধ রাখা হবে। তাদের এই অবরুদ্ধ থাকার সময়কাল সম্পর্কে খুব কম লোকই অনুধাবন করতে পারবে, আর তারা হলেন পৃথিবীর অবশিষ্ট নেককার মানুষ এবং কুরআনের ধারক-বাহকগণ (আলেম ও হাফেয সমাজ)। সে রাতে তাদের প্রত্যেকে নিজ নিজ ওযীফা (রাত্রিকালীন নফল তিলাওয়াত ও ইবাদত) পাঠ করবে। তা সমাপ্ত করার পর যখন সে দৃষ্টিপাত করবে, দেখবে রাত তার পূর্বাবস্থাতেই রয়ে গেছে। ফলে সে পুনরায় ফিরে গিয়ে তার ওযীফা তিলাওয়াত করবে, এবং তা শেষ করে তাকিয়ে দেখবে রাত তখনও পূর্বাবস্থাতেই অপরিবর্তিত রয়েছে। কুরআনের ধারক-বাহকগণ ব্যতীত বিষয়টি অন্য কেউ উপলব্ধি করতে পারবে না। অতঃপর তারা একে অপরকে ডেকে সমবেত করবে এবং অবশিষ্ট রাত বিনম্র প্রার্থনা, ক্রন্দন ও আহাজারিতে নিজেদের মসজিদগুলোতে অতিবাহিত করবে।
Yet permission will not be granted to either of them. Thus, they will be detained for the span of three nights in the case of the sun, and two nights in the case of the moon. None will comprehend the duration of their detention except a few people, who are the righteous remnant of the dwellers of the earth and the bearers of the Qur'an. Every man among them will recite his regular nocturnal portion of devotion (wird) during that night; when he finishes it, he will look and find that the night remains as it was. So he will return and recite his wird again, and when he finishes, he will look and find that the night still remains as it was. Thus, none will perceive this except the bearers of the Qur'an. They will call out to one another, gathering in their mosques in humble supplication, weeping, and fervent crying for the remainder of that night.
ومقدار تلك الليلة ثلاث ليال، ثم يرسل الله جبريل إلى الشمس والقمر فيقول: إن الرب تعالى يأمر كما أن ترجعا إلى مغربكما فتطلعا منه، فإنه لا ضوء لكما عندنا ولا نور، فتبكي الشمس والقمر خوف يوم القيامة، وخوف الموت، فتيرجع الشمس والقمر فيطلعان من مغربهما فبينما الناس كذلك، يتضرعون إلى الله تعالى، والغافلون في
আর সেই একটি রাতের দীর্ঘতা হবে সাধারণ তিন রাতের সমান। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাআলা জিবরীল (আলাইহিস সালাম)-কে সূর্য ও চন্দ্রের নিকট প্রেরণ করবেন। তিনি বলবেন: 'নিশ্চয়ই সুমহান প্রতিপালক তোমাদের আদেশ করছেন যে, তোমরা তোমাদের অস্তাচলে ফিরে যাও এবং সেখান থেকেই উদিত হও; কারণ আমাদের নিকট তোমাদের কোনো দীপ্তি ও আলো অবশিষ্ট নেই।' এ কথা শুনে কিয়ামত দিবসের ভয় ও মৃত্যুর ভয়ে সূর্য ও চন্দ্র ক্রন্দন করতে থাকবে। অতঃপর সূর্য ও চন্দ্র ফিরে যাবে এবং তাদের অস্তমিত হওয়ার স্থান (পশ্চিম দিক) থেকেই উদিত হবে। মানুষ যখন এমন অবস্থায় উপনীত হয়ে মহান আল্লাহর দরবারে কাতর প্রার্থনা জানাতে থাকবে, তখন উদাসীন লোকেরা লিপ্ত থাকবে...
The duration of that single night will be equal to three nights. Then Allah will send Jibril (peace be upon him) to the sun and the moon, and he will proclaim: 'Indeed, the Lord, the Exalted, commands you both to return to your place of setting and rise from it, for you have no illumination or light left with Us.'
