Section 8: The Emergence of the Universal Smoke (al-Dukhan)
Al-Hakim narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that: "Allah will send a wind from Yemen, softer than silk, which will not leave anyone in whose heart is a grain's weight of faith without seizing his soul." If it is said: It was previously mentioned that the wind comes from the direction of al-Sham, whereas here it states that it comes from the direction of Yemen; the answer is what al-Munawi mentioned in the takhrij of the hadiths of al-Masabih, that they are two winds: a Shami wind and a Yamani wind.
Imam Ahmad narrated with a strong chain of transmission from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The Hour will not be established until it is no longer said upon the earth: 'There is no god but Allah.'" And in Muslim, it is recorded with the wording: "until it is no longer said upon the earth: 'Allah, Allah.'" And Allah knows best.
