Hadith 120: Comprehensive Compendium on Graves, Departed Souls, and the Barzakh

الحديث 120: جامع ذكر القبور وأحوال الموتى وعالم البرزخ

حدثنا أحمد بن إبراهيم ثنا أبو عبد الله المروزي ثنا سلمة أبو صالح حدثني كنانة بن جبلة السلمي قال قال يزيد الرقاشي انظروا إلى هذه القبور سطورا بأفناء الدور تدانوا في خططهم وقربوا في مزارهم وبعدوا في لقائهم سكنوا فأوحشوا وعمروا فأخربوا فمن سمع بساكن موحش وعامر مخرب عن أهل القبور.

আহমদ ইবনে ইবরাহিম আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, আবু আবদুল্লাহ আল-মারওয়াযী আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, সালামাহ আবু সালিহ আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, কিনানাহ ইবনে জাবালাহ আস-সুলামী আমার নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, তিনি বলেন: ইয়াযীদ আর-রাকাশী বলেছেন: "তোমরা এই কবরগুলোর দিকে তাকাও, যা বসতবাড়ির আঙিনায় সারিবদ্ধ হয়ে রয়েছে! তারা তাদের সীমানায় পরস্পরের কাছাকাছি চলে এসেছে এবং সাক্ষাতের স্থানেও নিকটবর্তী হয়েছে, অথচ পরস্পরের সাথে সাক্ষাতের দিক থেকে তারা বহু দূরে! তারা বসতি স্থাপন করেছে অথচ নির্জনতা সৃষ্টি করেছে, আর তারা আবাদ করেছে অথচ ধ্বংসস্তূপে পরিণত করেছে। কবরবাসী ছাড়া এমন কোনো অধিবাসীর কথা কে শুনেছে যে নির্জনতা সৃষ্টি করে, কিংবা এমন কোনো আবাদকারীর কথা যে ধ্বংসযজ্ঞ ডেকে আনে?"

Ahmad ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Abu 'Abdullah al-Marwazi narrated to us, Salamah Abu Salih narrated to us, Kinanah ibn Jabalah al-Sulami narrated to me, saying: Yazid al-Raqashi said: "Look at these graves, laid out in rows in the courtyards of dwellings. They have drawn near to one another in their plots and are close in their places of visitation, yet they are utterly distant in their meeting! They inhabited their dwellings, yet left them desolate; and they built, yet brought about ruin. Who has ever heard of an inhabitant that causes desolation, or a builder that causes ruin, other than the dwellers of the graves?"
