الحديث 173: جامع ذكر القبور وأحوال الموتى وعالم البرزخ

ما زالت الدنيا منغشية ... لم ينجو صاحبها من البلوى

দুনিয়া সর্বদাই দুঃখ-কষ্ট ও অমঙ্গলে আচ্ছন্ন; এর কোনো সঙ্গীই কখনো বিপদ-আপদ ও পরীক্ষা থেকে নিষ্কৃতি পায়নি।

The world has never ceased to be fraught with grief and turmoil; its companion has never been spared from trial and tribulation.

دار الفجائع والهموم ... ودار البنود والأحزان والشكوى

এটি আকস্মিক বিপর্যয় ও উদ্বেগের নিবাস, নিদারুণ ক্লেশ, শোক এবং অভিযোগ-আর্তনাদের আলয়।

It is an abode of sudden tragedies and anxieties, a realm of deep distress, sorrows, and lamentation.

منا الفتى فيها بمنزل ... إذ صار تحته جيرانها ملقى

আমাদের মধ্যকার কোনো যুবক কীভাবে এমন আবাসে নিশ্চিত মনে থাকতে পারে, যেখানে অচিরেই সে মাটির নিচে তার প্রতিবেশীদের মাঝে শায়িত হবে?

How can any young man among us feel secure in a dwelling wherein he shall soon be cast down, lying beneath its neighbors in the earth?

يقفوا مساوئها محاسنها ... لا شيء بين المنعى والبشرى

এর অমঙ্গলগুলো এর আনন্দের পেছনেই ধেয়ে আসে; আর মৃত্যুর সংবাদ ও সুসংবাদের মাঝে কার্যত কোনো ব্যবধানই নেই।

Its evils closely follow upon its pleasures, and there is virtually nothing standing between the announcement of death and glad tidings.
