Hadith 158: Comprehensive Compendium on Graves, Departed Souls, and the Barzakh

الحديث 158: جامع ذكر القبور وأحوال الموتى وعالم البرزخ

حدثنا أحمد بن عمران الأخنسي قال سألت إسحاق بن سليمان الرازي فحدثني عن حريز بن عثمان عن عبد الرحمن بن ميسرة وكان قد قرأ الكتاب قال حوسب رجل فشالت السيئات بالحسنات فنظر في ذلك فإذا هو قد حثى على قبر ثلاث حثيات فوضعت الحسنات فشالت بالسيئات.

আহমদ ইবনে ইমরান আল-আখনাসী আমাদের নিকট বর্ণনা করেছেন, তিনি বলেন: আমি ইসহাক ইবনে সুলাইমান আর-রাযীকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলে তিনি হারীয ইবনে উসমান থেকে, তিনি আব্দুর রহমান ইবনে মায়সারা থেকে বর্ণনা করেন, আর তিনি পূর্ববর্তী আসমানী কিতাব পাঠ করেছিলেন, তিনি বলেন: "এক ব্যক্তির হিসাব নেওয়া হলো, তখন তার পাপসমূহ পুণ্যের ওপর ভারী হয়ে গেল, ফলে পুণ্যের পাল্লা হালকা হয়ে উপরে উঠে গেল। অতঃপর তার আমল অনুসন্ধান করে দেখা গেল যে, সে কোনো এক সময় একটি কবরের ওপর তিন মুষ্টি মাটি ফেলেছিল; সুতরাং তা তার নেক আমলের মধ্যে রাখা হলো, ফলে তার পুণ্যসমূহ পাপের ওপর ভারী হয়ে গেল এবং পাপের পাল্লা হালকা হয়ে উপরে উঠে গেল।"

Ahmad ibn 'Imran al-Akhnasi narrated to us, saying: I asked Ishaq ibn Sulayman al-Razi, and he narrated to me from Hariz ibn 'Uthman, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Maysarah, who had read the Scriptures, that he said: "A man was brought to account, and his evil deeds outweighed his good deeds, causing the scale of his good deeds to rise. His deeds were then examined, and it was found that he had once poured three handfuls of soil onto a grave; so they were placed among his good deeds, whereupon his good deeds outweighed his evil deeds, causing the scale of evil deeds to rise."
