الحديث 670

وبه عن أرطاة بن المنذر: " إن يأجوج ومأجوج ذرأ جهنم لم يكن فيهم صديق قط وإنهم على ثلاثة أثلاث: ثلث على طول الأرز والشبريين، وثلث مربع طوله وعرضه سواء وهم أشد، وثلث يفترش أحدهم أذنه ويلتحف الأخرى وهم من ولد نوح من ابنه يافث "

অনুরূপ সনদে আরতাহ ইবনুল মুনযির থেকে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন: "নিশ্চয় ইয়াজূজ ও মাজূজ হলো জাহান্নামের সৃষ্টি, তাদের মধ্যে কখনোই কোনো সত্যনিষ্ঠ ব্যক্তি ছিল না। তারা তিন শ্রেণীতে বিভক্ত: এক শ্রেণী দেবদারু বা সিডার গাছের মতো দীর্ঘ ও অতিরিক্ত দুই বিঘত লম্বা, দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণী চতুষ্কোণাকার যাদের দৈর্ঘ্য ও প্রস্থ সমান এবং তারাই অধিক শক্তিশালী, এবং তৃতীয় শ্রেণীর প্রত্যেকে নিজের এক কান বিছিয়ে নেয় এবং অন্য কান গায়ে জড়িয়ে রাখে; আর তারা নূহ (আ.)-এর সন্তান ইয়াফিস-এর বংশধর।"

And with the same chain of transmission from Artah ibn al-Mundhir, who said: "Indeed, Gog and Magog are created for Hell; there was never among them a truthful believer. They are of three types: one type is as tall as the cedar tree plus two spans, another type is square-shaped whose height and width are equal and they are the fiercest, and one type in which each person spreads out one of his ears to lie upon and drapes the other over himself as a cover; and they are descendants of Noah through his son Japheth."
